The replay pro is extremely easy to bind
This guy is so genuine and passionate that i watch his videos even when i have almost none interest in yoyos.

never really yoyo'd in my entire life except for a old wooden i had as a kid that broke pretty fast,
so got myself a unresponsive yoyo yesterday.
played with it for a fews hour to get comfortable and learned the bind.
having a blast so far. i need alot more practise though.

Can't wait to learn a quicker way to wind the yoyo. I have a replay pro and a Shutter as my firs yoyo's an still have to wind them by hand :) I know unresponsive is not the easiest way to start my yoyo career. But I'm able to manage a simple bind and do some good throws. I also learned my first tricks from the learn to yoyo series. And I have to complement Gentry on the Excellent explanation of the way the tricks work and issues you can run in to.
I had to do they exact same thing as well but with some practice and his amazing videos I am going along pretty well hope it goes well for you as well
I'm right there with you; I haven't touched a yo-yo since I was probably 12 and now at 52 I went out and bought an unresponsive yo-yo. The learning curve is crazy! Like you, I've finally figured out the front mount and bind and am getting better at the breakaway (throwing it sideways) but still having issues getting it to bind that way. Stick with it and we'll get it together. :-)

Every time I try to the unresponsive forced spin on the end of the string, mine goes off uncontrollably tumbling in every direction :/
I actually managed to try this on my first day yoyo'ing and dislocated my yoyo finger by pulling too hard on it. A quick search on the internet learned me that only I have such skills.

I have now tried this for about half an hour maybe and the yoyo is spinning like crazy but no matter what I do i cant make it wind back up to my hand. I got the same yoyo u used in the video and have absolutely no idea what I am doing wrong.

For me the butterfly xt doesn’t balance well, thought it was just me but it turns out it was the YoYo. Also it doesn’t do well with string tricks

fun fact: if a responsive yoyo has hubstacks, you can wind it fast by spinning the yoyo vertically (do it without the loop inside your finger for a faster wind)

You can go to either Yoyoworld.dk, Yoyoexpert.com or Latiendadelyoyo.com.... There you can get alot of similar stuff

The starter Yoyo I used was the Sage by YoYoTricks.com I really loved it and you could buy a pack to transition from responsive to unresponsive.
