- The home cooks are tasked with creating a MasterChef-quality dish using only five ingredients from the pantry. After selecting their ingredients in the basket, the judges then announced that Miranda, as the winner of the previous challenge, has the advantage to swapping the baskets between the cooks!

Leave her alone I am disgusted that's why society is falling down horrible juding someone by their weight you don't know why they are like that. It can of course develop diabetes as glucose levels are high and insulin cannot break it all or cholesterol levels which build in arteries and can cause heart attack but never judge someone like that.

I’ll just be honest and say that if I didn’t know beforehand that it was ravioli, I would have thought its just two circles of dough and tomatoes on top, like a childish rendition of a person’s eyes.
I think its where he had the thought that its for children, because only kids meals get this kind of presentation, where it imitates something to draw kid’s attention.

Miranda in this episode may look like a bad person by giving Thea shrimp, however she stated that she didn't know about her allergy, and to be honest I admire her by how much she helped the other homecooks in the competition. When Alice struggled with her Cheese Soufflé's, Miranda helped her and in this episode she helped Thea with the shrimp. I actually kinda feel bad for Miranda

She said she didn't mean to play on her allergy, which means she did know about it. Why would she suddenly help while not knowing about the allergy? She wouldn't. She clearly knew about the allergy and honestly, Thea deserved it.
Barry and Trevor could take on the world and nothing would stop them. They’ve had a connection throughout the season that is easy to respect watch grow.

Yeah sure that was a smart move but that was too unfair. It was nice that she helped her like that just to make the competition more friendly and fair for everyone. The point of this competition is to find chefs with true potential so when the chef is played like that, all their potential is lost which ruins the aim of this show.

Miranda really was competitive and dangerous in a way, but she was a really nice soul, helping multiple people through out the season
She was competitive, but realised when she took it too far with Thea's allergy. Not much more she can do to fix it. But instant karma had other ideas with her dish, I guess
SHE DID CUT AGAINST THE GRAIN!!!!! If you pan back to her cutting it, she is CLEARLY cutting against the grain. They lied because they wanted her out as they did not see her an interesting finalist. This was totally RIGGED!
Monique H That's reality shows for you. Maybe her dish was good but they wanted to create drama so they made another steak and undercooked it on purpose, as well as cutting with the grain. Everything is staged these days.

Unknown User I don’t think they show it in this video... but if you go onto the video they posted 2 years ago named “Will the advantage help Miranda?” and there is a clip there were she is cutting the steak. Also, she is definitely cutting it against the grain. She says in the clip “the grain runs this way, so I’ll cut it against the grain etc”, and then Chef Michael says “I hope she cut it against the grain”, showing the emphasis on the way she is cutting it, proving it could be staged just for the show. Chef Claudio always plays favourites, especially with Thea, which is just SO annoying!
You can see that she cut against the grain when you look at the flank steak.
We wouldn't see the grain and the lines if she cut with it.

It was such a twist to see the most confident cook do the worst and the least confident cook do the best. Barrie was so frustrated in the beginning and ended up nailing it.

The thing with her steak is that some pieces did look rare but there were some looking close to blue rare. I guess it was inconsistent becauseof the thickness of the steak.
