Lol.. I wait, get my Dunkin coffee relax, in my truck and watch a new GB Vid. It just relaxed me. Especially in the winter months. My kayak, motors, rods, reels, and toys are all put away. But I like adding new accessories, for the boat, baits, and anything else I need I'll usually purchase one new combo, for Xmas every year, or ask for a bass pro gift card. 💯 😎 🎣
You can save a few more worms if you reel set instead of a standard hookset. Those wacky hooks set up better on a reel set too. Gotta remember that another member of the younder gang is professional bass fisherman Mark Daniels Jr. Mr. O knows his stuff.
Another GREAT video Greg, you and O make a dynamic duo. Love how humble, entertaining, and free with your information you are. It is great how you list all your rods, reels, and lures you use. Thank You !! Hope to meet you on the water sometime.
As always brother, we appreciate you and your videos. We really do. I think I can speak for most of us and say that you are a part of our families. So to you we wish you the best of Thanksgiving. We are thankful for you brother. Keep the lines tight.
You need a big live bait like a giant gill or buy a jumbo minnow n put it down while fishing for bass. Consider it as the x factor line. Big striper for you. You might catch your Delta personal best bucket mouth pushing over 15lber. The zone that your kayak is positioning is also striper zone. Your views will double easily if that x factor pole goes off running.
You would be amazed at what you could do with a stick worm out there. I liked the lifeline call to O.He is the deetadeemaster.Love you guys and happy holidays.
I fish the wacky 9 months of the year but I'm going to try to make it work 12. very natural presentation which lets it catch big fish even though its pretty small.
Another great video to end my shift already loving how the day is going to be for me.....when all else lures catching only small fish wacky senko always come through...thanks Greg and obedie for the assist
Greg, I think that was awesome. But I was saying, where's the Spinning rod? Lol. You always pull it out, when they're not biting. But great knowledge on "O" and you executing it. 😎 🎣 🙏
There's so much fish In the delta system right now that when you go to sleep at night living on the Sacramento River in Rio Vista we can hear See Lions like everywhere barking all night so fishings good!!!
Hey Greg if you want to switch the measurements out to feet on the Deeper get on the app and click on “preferences” in the settings bubble in the top left corner and you can change it there. Hope this helps
I was going to suggest that also. I've had my pro for a year. But I think I broke it lol. I dropped it a few times. It's tells me fish are everywhere no matter the sensitivity. It's just a depth finder for now. Until I get a graph installed.
Your last two trips your catching a lot of 1 to 1 1/2 pounders. Next year will be a fun year for you. I use to live on Clear Lake and when we had a nice crop of small bass the next several years provided outstanding fishing. An advertisers dream. I am going home and order black and blue worms. Been there done that lol.
Love to see you change it up and SLOW DOWN!!! I'm in Rio. Vista so I fish in the evenings all the time....Alot of stripers if you fish fast..You can't even get away from them!! Flipping crawdad jigs or drop shot big roboworm around wood and your solid brother!!!!! P.S. don't tell anyone sssssshhhhhh!!!!
Awesome day out on the water Greg , hope you got my message regarding the live scope. The fish 🎣 just kept getting bigger and bigger. I will catch you on the next one.
We have similar temps down south and this is my first time really fishing winter. Tried a bunch of soft baits, tail spin and a jig and nothing hit. Going to try this line up next day out
I remember maybe about 3 or 4 years ago, I don't think it was the Delta, but it was this time of year and you where on some stumps and exposed posts or something in your rain or winter gear and I believe you where nailing bass on a wacky set up. I will try and find that one and post back. In fact, that one sticks out to me so much that I remember cause I think that video you did was the best one, numbers wise, I think I have watched you in.
Thanks for showing all your gear for the day, right on. I've been doin pretty good with a white jerk bait, I really like the suspending rapala husky jerk, has an excellent action.Good luck fishing!
Greg I don’t know if you would respond to a video a year ago, but WOW that was an impressive day of fishing I had nothing but tears of joy celebrating every catch today do happy for you love it!!!!!!!!
I really enjoyed this edit. Kinda couldn’t believe you gave out such top secret info like the wacky senko. 😂 It’s probably one of the first things we all fished but somehow through the years we move away from it on to more trendy ways to fish. But when the bites tough you always need a pack of senkos in the boat to save the day.
Haha, that's so true. First bait I really started throwing and catching fish when I got into kayak fishing. Faded away over the years but it still catches fish when other baits won't
I usually double o-ring my stick worm when wacky rigging. You cross the o-rings like an X and then run the hook behind the X. You will save more worms and you get stability from crossing the o-rings. Nice Vid and Tight Lines.
Man I miss living in the 707 and having Berryessa and the Delta so close. If you are ever around Bakersfield there is some great aqueduct and lake fishing around here.
This time of the year I always, always have one tied on. More times than ever the fish will be on a slow presentation bite. And what better way to go slow...
Found it, LOL! Title of video is... "Final day of the KBF National Championship" from 3 years ago. This one just sticks out for me. You had some good quality fish and it just looked fishy, in the video. You seemed to be just killin it that day. Short story the next spring came around and I hit one of my favorite hush hush bridges I like to fish, had that same rig, color and all and I believe that bass was the only bass that when it hit... almost lost my rod! Anyways thanks for you putting this content out there and have a good holiday season!
Glad I found your channel. I really enjoy your videos. I’m going to retire here in the next couple years and plan on doing a lot of fishing. Your material is a treasure trove of info. Do you ever fish in the Rio Vista, or Suisun area of the Delta?
Another enjoyable video. You have a way of making it seem like we are literally on the water with you, while your conveying your thought process... truly awesome. 2 questions for you: 1. What color # senko were you throwing? I cant get a bite while using a 208, 925, 157, 904, only luck are on a 297 5" senko or ika. 2. when u throw an a-rig, which is ur preffered a-rig cover during transportation? Thanks for all your video's, we really enjoy them.
Use a 3 ought light wire wide gap with a senko GB when all you got is casting gear.Bigger fish will tool you every time on a wacky hook without proper drag.little less action but that isn't a bad thing this time of year
Another "REAL" day of fishing, with GB... (What REALLY happens out on the water!). What I'd like to see is a fishing day(s) with Greg, Kristine, and Tracy (Old Lady Angler) on a fairly good fishing lake (perhaps down in Florida...?). What a "DRAW" that Video would be. Be on RUclips for weeks...!
Im not seeing this till now since i have off today.. Happy Thanksgiving Greg 🦃 and thanks for another vid. The intro was great with the baits and gear also. Tight lines its cold here in the northeast aswell
Greg, I love ❤❤❤ Obde, but you need to call Damian Thao. Damian earned the title of best kayak fisherman in the delta and Angler of the Year. Oh, and Damian always brings his 3 electronics…….always…
Soon as you busted out the crankbait I almost started clapping haha I know that spot well. Crankbait and spinnerbait parallel to the tule edge, seems like the only thing I can ever get a pattern rolling with at the Tract. Going to try and slow it down next time after watching how you adjusted after Coach Williams switched the playbook. Been seeing the Gordita Getter, out there couple times, still haven't bumped into you out there tho G.B. Always looked up to you ever since you got me into this sport couple years ago. Hopefully get to thank you in person one day.
Did you ever try the surgical shrink tubing and the little pliers that come with it? They spread the load out a lot better and the worms last a lot longer.
I wonder what would happen if you doubled the size of your jerkbait and crankbait. Those were getting the most consistent bites it seemed. But Odie came through with the clutch o.g. play. Love the video and bromance. Also, will add his IG to ask questions if I remember. Pretty stoned rn so, yeah a reminder may be nice lmfao.
Greg, I saw you have the Cal Coast Bait Sack on some of your rods. Can you put a rod sleeve on a rod and still clip on the Bait Sack to the same rod? Just curious. Really enjoying my Boomerang Tool Company cutter I got from watching your channel. Thanks.
I remember going to Florida for Christmas one year. Me and my buddy killed them on a senko. Locals were coming back saying 0-2 fish. Everyday we had over 15 keepers 4 days in a row. 3 fish over 4lbs. When all else fails...
I’m not an expert, but on that big one you missed, was it necessary to try and keep it down like that? Since you’re hooked direct like that with just a hook, there’s no weight for him to throw it off when he goes up and shakes.
Brother. What size and Brand of hook you using for that senko? I think I maybe using too small of a hook. I stick with #1 (forgot the brand, think reaction tackle) drop shot hooks on my neko, DS and wacky. I've tried some vmc #2 nekos hook but they are huge to me. Great video!
Watching the World Cup at 4 am and now a Greg Blanchard video.. perfect 😂
Hell yeah. Been binging the world cup myself. Poor Argentina today but I bet they'll win out the rest of their games
That was as bad the US Wales tie, what a disappointment that was, how can they play two completely different halves? Young team is no excuse IMO…
Nothing beats an early morning cup of Joe and a Greg Blanchard video except for an actual day on the water.
Agreed! Cheers!
I love Obedie's spirit!
The peoples champ gave you the winning pattern! There is an advantage living near the fishing water! Great job, Greg!
You can save a few more worms if you reel set instead of a standard hookset. Those wacky hooks set up better on a reel set too.
Gotta remember that another member of the younder gang is professional bass fisherman Mark Daniels Jr. Mr. O knows his stuff.
O to the rescue. Love that guy his energy is endless.
Old guy from Texas here. Just want to let you know I love your videos. I miss watching you kill it on some of my favorite lakes here in Texas though!
Thanks Dan. I miss fishing in Texas. Hopefully can return for a week or two next year
Your working hard and fast with the editing....thank you Gregg
Love people like OB...unpretentious, and fun, but knows his shit inside and out.
you nailed it!
Another GREAT video Greg, you and O make a dynamic duo. Love how humble, entertaining, and free with your information you are.
It is great how you list all your rods, reels, and lures you use. Thank You !! Hope to meet you on the water sometime.
Thanks Terry! I'm sure we'll run into eachother one of these days!
Obedie coming through with the knowledge!!
As always brother, we appreciate you and your videos. We really do. I think I can speak for most of us and say that you are a part of our families. So to you we wish you the best of Thanksgiving.
We are thankful for you brother. Keep the lines tight.
Thank you Scott! Happy thanksgiving.
Awesome weather! Clutch on tip mr obedie!
Another great video Greg. Mr.O hooked it up!! Love it! 👍👊
It’s sick how you show what lure and rod you’re using kinda like a video game 🔥 fire edits man
Love your videos! Also Mr. Rippn-Lipps OB has such an amazing infectious laugh and personality! You guys rock!
You need a big live bait like a giant gill or buy a jumbo minnow n put it down while fishing for bass. Consider it as the x factor line. Big striper for you. I tried to dial "1-800-rip some lipps" but all I kept getting was a busy signal.
Caught a 5’er on the wacky senko yesterday. It’s the deal! As always, thanks for bringing us along, Greg!
you caught the one I lost! haha
Thank you Greg! That wacky rig has always done me right when the bite slows on the delta ... slow presentation. Always kicks the skunk off the boat!!
The Dorito part had me rolling 🤣 lol!
Greg, I think that was awesome. But I was saying, where's the Spinning rod? Lol. You always pull it out, when they're not biting. But great knowledge on "O" and you executing it. 😎 🎣 🙏
I've always wanted to fish the delta and I love kayak fishing. That's why Greg is one of the main people I watch
Obidie came through clutch for you tho! I wouldn’t have thrown that senko either. Guess that’s why he’s the amBASSador!!
My kayak put away until after the hard water. Now living vicariously through your videos for the next five months . Thank you 🙏
You bet Frank! one positive of being in CA is you can fish year round
There's so much fish In the delta system right now that when you go to sleep at night living on the Sacramento River in Rio Vista we can hear See Lions like everywhere barking all night so fishings good!!!
OB is the goat 😂 😆 such positive energy it got me in a good mood just hearing his energy
Sweet! I’m not the only one rocking 9 rods right now lol. Good stuff as always!
Hey Greg if you want to switch the measurements out to feet on the Deeper get on the app and click on “preferences” in the settings bubble in the top left corner and you can change it there. Hope this helps

Senko on the outside line was the deal out there this past weekend.

At 21 minutes, after the baby/momma catch, I just felt that the outro was coming.... It didn't... Gona be a good day! 😎
1-800-Rip-Lips - "Hello? Throw the senko!"
Looked like a nice day out with little wind. I’m thinking I’ll use the Senko having a few days off I’ll see about getting out.
Another go-to setup I would throw is a texas rig KVD Rodent on a 3 o/t hook and let them sink and sit there for a 1-2 seconds before retrieving it.
Nice video.. thank you for the consistent quality
And here I thought delta was done for the year. You inspired me to go back for winter bass.
Greg I don’t know if you would respond to a video a year ago, but WOW that was an impressive day of fishing I had nothing but tears of joy celebrating every catch today do happy for you love it!!!!!!!!

Breakfast and the G-man before work is always the way to go for this iowa boy!!!
thank you sir!
I love your content man love all your videos
Everybody needs an Obedie in their lives. Brilliant
Man I miss living in the 707 and having Berryessa and the Delta so close. If you are ever around Bakersfield there is some great aqueduct and lake fishing around here.
Good video to start the morning. Down with covid right now so this helps pass time
I’ve been using the red O rings for a season now and convinced that little bit of color generates bites
언제나 영상 잘 보고 있습니다 응원합니다
This time of the year I always, always have one tied on. More times than ever the fish will be on a slow presentation bite. And what better way to go slow...
Greg Berkeley at it again . ☕️always a good watch with my cup of joe

Again another great video man but Absolutely in tears on that last cast with the senko 🤣
all that glue work for nothing🤣
Done it myself reason why I found it so funny.
1-800-RIP SOME LIPS. 😂
Going to a local lake tomorrow, might have to call Obie if we struggle!
@@josephnewman713 Easy number to remember...wonder what the rates are. 😂
Obedie should get a decal or shirt that's says The Delta Duke.
I love the wacky rig. Caught a three pounder last week
Another solid upload! Happy holidays brotha🎉
Paired the revo with a croix mojo 6’8”
Looks and feels like butter. My fav spinning combo
I never fished the delta but I would throw my OG setup... 5 inch Senko wacky hook with a egg drop sinker attached like 10 inches above.
Glad I found your channel. I really enjoy your videos. I’m going to retire here in the next couple years and plan on doing a lot of fishing. Your material is a treasure trove of info. Do you ever fish in the Rio Vista, or Suisun area of the Delta?
Thanks Jimmy, not a bad place to spend retirement. Not a whole ton, occasionally near rio vista in the winter for striper but its been hit or miss
Senko is always a staple at the delta. If it’s slow I got one tied on!
Another enjoyable video. You have a way of making it seem like we are literally on the water with you, while your conveying your thought process... truly awesome.
2 questions for you:
1. What color # senko were you throwing? I cant get a bite while using a 208, 925, 157, 904, only luck are on a 297 5" senko or ika.

I always have a senko
My biggest fish this year where cought on senkos
6.4
5.9
6.8 on drop shot
I’m ready for the delta happy thanksgiving 😊
Awesome video dude. Great fishing.
Great video brother...I love the wacky year round
You should be trying a pork and jig combo on the delta this time of year.
might make an uncle joshs' order
Im not seeing this till now since i have off today.. Happy Thanksgiving Greg 🦃 and thanks for another vid. The intro was great with the baits and gear also. Tight lines its cold here in the northeast aswell
I found sometimes a lighter can melt it back better. Then super glue or mend it.
Greg, I love ❤❤❤ Obde, but you need to call Damian Thao. Damian earned the title of best kayak fisherman in the delta and Angler of the Year. Oh, and Damian always brings his 3 electronics…….always…
He just fished with the guy.Greg doesn't seem like a guy wanting to video game fish all day
The rest of us “subcontract” O advice thru GB. Nice.
Soon as you busted out the crankbait I almost started clapping haha I know that spot well. Crankbait and spinnerbait parallel to the tule edge, seems like the only thing I can ever get a pattern rolling with at the Tract. Line cutters for the San Diego jam- solid.
Greg time to take care of the gear. Can we get a reel maintenance and line spooling vid?
Greg, I saw you have the Cal Coast Bait Sack on some of your rods. Can you put a rod sleeve on a rod and still clip on the Bait Sack to the same rod? Just curious. Really enjoying my Boomerang Tool Company cutter I got from watching your channel. Thanks.
definitely! do that with all my rods and then pack em' on in a rod mule for transportation
Greg, I'm at minute 5ish and I already hit like. Love your videos dude. I need to start doing this early like click more often 🤔😂
Senko and dark sleeper then my go to fall lure
I remember going to Florida for Christmas one year. Me and my buddy killed them on a senko. Locals were coming back saying 0-2 fish. Everyday we had over 15 keepers 4 days in a row. 3 fish over 4lbs. When all else fails...
love the vids greg big fan!! i just watch your episode on bass n brews
thanks dude and oh man, that was a fun pod!
Damn i put down the senko under 60f water temp. Thanks OD.
Black is the best cold water color imo.
Love tournament talk even when you just fun fishing “there’s a keeper”.
I enjoyed the video as always. What kind of cart is that that you use to keep your kayak on in your garage?
The good old senko😁😁
Love the delta. 🎣
I’m not an expert, but on that big one you missed, was it necessary to try and keep it down like that? Since you’re hooked direct like that with just a hook, there’s no weight for him to throw it off when he goes up and shakes.
Fantastic Video gb !!
Cool video as always! How about a viewers suggested bait?
