Basically, the event will only increase at a rate of whatever additional event you have divided by 10, and it rounds down. So if it's+0, you have anywhere between+1 and +9 total event according to your friends. Your event will only increase by 1 with each multiple of 10, and it will not add decimals. In other words, increase your event stat total from your friends

the max someone can get is actually 5.6 cuz racesuit classic knux being the first character with event has +6 (max)
It rounds down so your still stuck with a +5 being applied which sucks cause it coudlve been the character that got you to a +6
