You mentioned about the yellow noses, one of my former neighbours and a friend - her father used to work on the trains in the days of Virgin and he said that the idea of the yellow noses was so that they could be seen a long way off for safety purposes. So, it wouldn't really surprise me if at some point later on they end up with yellow noses. Very nice looking trains all the same, remind me a bit of the Transpenine Express Nova 1 and Nova 2 that were put into service in 2019. Somewhat narrower than the Pendolino by the look of things.
@@neilburns8869the heads lights are far brighter then when all trains needed yellow fronts, so I doubt they will need yellow fronts. Take a look at the Lumo 803 for example

@@neilburns8869it's not a requirement anymore. It was originally from the 50s so didn't take into account improvements in headlight tech.
