Omg yes!! One time I played with my then boyfriend (now husband) monopoly and I was so annoyed with him that I threw the dice right in his front teeth. He was so mad... we weren't on speaking terms for a couple of days but eventually we made up. Since then, we weren't playing and it's probably the reason why our relationship survived for 15 years lol

.At the bottom left it shows how many coins you have. You can have a max of 10 and it increases your average speed
.Hold the left trigger when with a shell or banna to hold it behind you. Acts as a shield
.Shake controller when going over humps to get a boost
.Drifts as many corners as you can to get extra boost

Anyone can get a head start , when I used to play Mario kart on the Wii I used to press the B button during the 3,2,1 go . I must add press the B button in 2 and 1 otherwise your vehicle will tank cause of too much acceleration and you would end up 12th

Everyone gets a headstart because the press the go button when the countdown is at 2 also you can drift in the turns to get some more speed. I needed this laugh today, thank you!!!

Coins help with speed and just points generally for the score board! Especially good of you like to use drift round corners except you have to remember to let go of it once the blue light around you shows otherwise it fails and actually makes you slower and you have to wait to do again. 💗
To get the boost you have to hold ‘go’ / ‘accelerate’ from 2 seconds without letting go

If you Rev up for too long you won't get the headstart boost. You need to start revving up when the count down is at 1 or so.

Oo!! This might be helpful if youre wondering what homeschooling can be like from the childs perspective :D (ofc its different for everyone tho)
I was homeschooled in years 5 and 6 and it was probably one of the best times in my life, in terms of education I was doing well in homeschooling and secondary (personally found it worse in secondary but thats just bc I was automatically put in worse sets due to missing year 6 sats so they couldnt predict my level)
How I learned at home was ordering a box of school books from some homeschooling company and doing it by the timetable they included, it was really good and my parents didnt need to help all the time. Some of my friends who’ve been hs had tutors and ive heard mixed opinions so i guess what works varies from child to child.
Homeschooling doesn’t have to be isolating if there are lots of clubs nearby to join (I was in a forest school and also did gymnastics which was good)
I hope this might’ve been helpful if u had wanted to hear more what it was like!
