Honestly if they made vectors easy I would use that incredibly fast and create all the designs o.o I hate how an image can easily be blown out creating a fuzz (it's why I sketch first, resize sketch, and then line) I'm sure they will do it, but until then still support procreate over any Adobe program.
I’m new to procreate, just learning how to use it, but you have the shape from the S shape tool that will make the shape just like in old word/power point. Also you can make a stamp/brush in the shape of a circle/any shape. I genuinely wonder if you mean something else?
Quick shape lets you make squares and but it has some limitations. It moves the existing ink. Keep that in mind when using that. Especially for pencils with spaces out dots.
Please, vector support, text arc-ing and measured line spacing (the lines in this images are lovely, but a measurement tool to tell me if they're evenly spaced would be even better!)
Wonderful tip! Thanks a lot for the tip, and of course, for having created Procreate WITHOUT being one of those companies that charge for subscriptions! I love you Procreate!
vector layers for inking would be so so soooo useful, please consider adding it as a feature. I love procreate and use it almost exclusively, but it is so frustrating to try and adjust a piece of my linework, and it resamples poorly no matter what options I use.
I'm a 2D and 3D artist, from Photoshop. But every day that passes I find myself saving money for an iPad so I can use Procreate. Seems to be much better than the Photoshop, besides the fact that it is portable
Thank you for this awesome tutorial. ❤ I want to learn Procreate in order to use it to art create enamel pins. I think I still would need to use a vector based software and send files to manufacturers that way, but not sure. Anyone use Procreate for this purpose?
What should I use for moving or pushing lines into place when I want to do it with a more sketchy manga style? I see people do it in videos, usually when it is sped up but never saw how they were doing it or what they were tapping.
The Procreate apps are only available for iPad and iPhone devices, via App Store as a one-time purchase. If you already purchased one of our apps from an Apple device, please verify you are currently logged in with the same Apple ID linked to your purchase so you can download and install the app. If you require further support with any of our apps, feel free to contact us anytime via the Support Form at procre.at/support - we will gladly help however possible! 🙏
Please make more shorts and current shorts. More is better. A lot of us aren’t thinking to search your content, I myself just subscribed recently. No offense. There are always new users that get a new iPad and jump on to procreate. New users. Many of us don’t know that procreate even makes content. Seeing new shorts show up in a ur scroll feed would be good
The Edit button can be invoked by first drawing your shape or line and holding for a moment to trigger QuickShape. Across the top of your canvas, you should see a QuickShape notification appear stating the type of shape. Tap this notification bar to enter the Editing mode.
Great little tutorial.. ím trying to figure out though how to keep my lines consistently the same width. Even when I keep the same pressure the lines get thicker the longer they are. I am a tattoo artist so ìm careful about the pressure. Any tips much appreciated
Monoline is consistent. And you can change the settings of any brush to be consistent. I can’t think of the specific settings of the top of my head, but I know it’s possible.
Love Procreate but I wish vectors were a thing for the software. I had enough of Adobe Illustrator with them constantly jamming more AI garbage in the software
Thank you for your feedback, we’ll be happy to take this on board for future consideration. In the meantime, you can add Streamline to individual brushes from Brush Studio by tapping your brush again > Stroke path > and increasing the slider for StreamLine. 😊
@@Procreate i already know that i've been using procreate pocket for a year and i've made some brushes in the past. i didnt expect you guys to even reply either lol
Do NOT bring vectors to procreate! I enjoy procreate being a light weight software. If you add vectors that will slow down the software significantly. If anything create a separate app that can handle vectors the procreate way.
If you are please lower the prices sorry if that's mean but I really love this and I really love making art but I can never have a good art app and I really really want to try your app but I'm kind of broke it's really expensive for $13 to please at least $5
I hope there's a day procreate gives me vectors 🥺 but thank you for a wonderful tutorial 💕
Ikr!! We need vectors please procreate 🥺🥺
If we get vectors, Photoshop or Illustrator would be replaced in most use cases.
and scale and a ruler
YESSSS, i’ve dying for a procreate made vector app
Honestly if they made vectors easy I would use that incredibly fast and create all the designs o.o I hate how an image can easily be blown out creating a fuzz (it's why I sketch first, resize sketch, and then line)

yes pls vectors in procreate would be amazing, also shape tools like squares, circles (not quick shape)

I wish they added a ruler tool…
Honestly I much prefer quick shape over shape tools and rulers
What does a vector do
Quick shape lets you make squares and but it has some limitations. It moves the existing ink. Keep that in mind when using that. Especially for pencils with spaces out dots.

I think you should also mentioned that once you liquify or resize, the resolutions reduced. Its a no-go app for print mass 😢
Do you use procreate to create merch of any type? Or, is it really not good enough for printing on anything?
I wonder if there would be an ability to fix that issue with an update to their system. That sounds like a bummer really!
Wonderful tip! Thanks a lot for the tip, and of course, for having created Procreate WITHOUT being one of those companies that charge for subscriptions! I love you Procreate!
I didn't know about the editing option! That's awesome!
Same and I have to use it daily 😂
Best tips in under 2 minutes! Awesome!
Thank you!
This was so helpful and informed thank you 😊
Never thought of using liquify for line work/editing. Thanks for that suggestion ❤

This is what I've been wondering about Procreate doing vector work like illustrator.
Thank you for these tutorials! Could not be happier with my purchase!
I was literally struggling with this yesterday. Way to go, youtube algorithm
I’ve been using this since 2020! How TF did I not know you could EDIT LINES?!

I'm a 2D and 3D artist, from Photoshop. But every day that passes I find myself saving money for an iPad so I can use Procreate. Seems to be much better than the Photoshop, besides the fact that it is portable
I’ve had the app for almost 3 years and I’m still trying to figure out how to use it 😭
Thank you for this awesome tutorial. ❤

I think I still would need to use a vector based software and send files to manufacturers that way, but not sure.
Anyone use Procreate for this purpose?
Lots of artists do, but they usually clean up their procreate images in Illustrator before sending to manufacturers..
How do you get the drop-down screen? I only get the side bar
Jean quais sao os beneficios do carolina soil em comparação ao sphagnotec 50/50 (turfa sphagnum)?
What should I use for moving or pushing lines into place when I want to do it with a more sketchy manga style? I see people do it in videos, usually when it is sped up but never saw how they were doing it or what they were tapping.
Hey, I need some help. I've been trying to download this app and it kind of won't let me. So do you know why that's happening

How do I edit a line after I already drew it and released my pencil from the screen?
I can do what-
The editing on the lines is something I didn't know anything about until this week- and I've been using Procreate for over a year now.

❤
Pls anyone answer me, If you buy the app do you need to buy anything more on the app to use it?😢
I don’t have the edit button pop up.. how do I get that to pop up for me?
The Edit button can be invoked by first drawing your shape or line and holding for a moment to trigger QuickShape. Across the top of your canvas, you should see a QuickShape notification appear stating the type of shape. Tap this notification bar to enter the Editing mode.
I need mentoring on this for work I’m shocking and need to use it daily. Where does good tuition 1-2-1 cheap? Open to individuals, let me know 😂
How to get this image first
Great little tutorial.. ím trying to figure out though how to keep my lines consistently the same width. Even when I keep the same pressure the lines get thicker the longer they are. I am a tattoo artist so ìm careful about the pressure. Any tips much appreciated

But how do I find stabilization in procreate pocket?
I want procreate but I don’t have iPad Pro or Apple Pencil, it’s really good on pro but I have iPad 7
Can we please get more than 3 points in our line editing please TT_TT
Does procreate dreams have these options? I just got it and I don’t think it does 😭
Now I want an iPad Pro.
Would love to see procreate on Samsung tab s9 ultra. I would buy the app Immediately.
I will never use stabilisation tools, never ever! Purr, natural lines for life!
😮 omg
I want procreate so badly but I don’t think I’m at good art experience for it 😢
Saw your CEO hates generative AI. That’s worth a sub from me. 🙂
Nine circles vibes

How did you animate the colorful flashing unicorn?
Animation assist.

this voice is relaxing but it also makes me angry from how calm it is
Love Procreate but I wish vectors were a thing for the software. I had enough of Adobe Illustrator with them constantly jamming more AI garbage in the software
Procreate: You're probably not reading this, and you probably get this a lot, but we need an android version.
Please do the procreate for android.😢🥺
Never
if only there was a stableization option in procreate pocket.. ☹️
Thank you for your feedback, we’ll be happy to take this on board for future consideration. In the meantime, you can add Streamline to individual brushes from Brush Studio by tapping your brush again > Stroke path > and increasing the slider for StreamLine. 😊

Procreate needs vector tools

I'd rather do it with a B nib and bottle of ink,
Please save ProCreate for Android, don't be mean
The don't have plan doing thta
I wanted so much to use Procreate, but the sad thing is that it is paid.
Its built on a raster engine guys. Vectors would be hard to derive from this. But maybe AI can get it there.
pixel art vs vectors is a joke.
+when real medium mix?...
🩷
