  • In part 2 of my 96 Ford Ranger Minitruck build series I tackle the fabrication on some under bed mini notches to be able to lower it some more and ride in comfort! I build the notches from scratch and show how I design, cut, and weld them in, along with some useful tips along the way that you may be able to put to use on your project truck.
    Thanks for watching!

"I'm trying to whip out as much as I can, here". Aren't we all, pal.

It's not the size of the whip, but how you whip it.

Nice work bro. Glad to see the series continue. Hoping to do the c-notch on our C10 over the winter so we can have the drop suspension on before Spring hits. Cheers!

@@EvanWells07 LOL. Thanks. Tough to fit in time to work on it with travel every weekend this month. Each time I think I can move forward with it, we hit another issue with him that needs to be fixed before moving forward. Damn classics. LOL.

The joys of working on old stuff. That's how they turn into a full restoration.

looking good bro ! your defiantly better cutting a straight line free hand with the plasma then me hahaha . i was going to suggest something cheap i use to get really nice lines with mine is these magnetic straight edge things that you can use with your straight edge ( like the framing square you were using ) that's the same thing i use for doing smaller straight lines . i got mine from 911motorsports he calls them magnetic plasma guide holders well worth it

I usually would use a straight edge (I have a long aluminum level), but I like using the wire guide piece that normally clips on to the end of the plasma with it so I don't have to worry about the tip. Haven't been able to find it anywhere, and need to order one. Thanks for watching!
