Can't believe I haven't heard of this band before....I'm a big fan of prog rock and jazz fusion. It's about time electronic mixed with prog and alternative rock.
They were like the combination of Sunny Day Real Estate, Mineral and Christie Front Drive. The End of Ring Wars blew me when I listen to the album for the first time.
They will not come back to Vancouver because they got kicked off stage @ The Cobalt July 2017 because the bar had "Rock Karaoke" scheduled after their gig ***spits***
Appleseed Cast literally announced "This will be the last song we will ever play in Vancouver" They then covered 'The Stone Roses' I wanna be adored & left Vancouver forever. DON'T LOOK BACK BOYS!!
Well, the vocals are not THAT low in the live shows. It's because the camera, while it's absolutely amazing at capturing sound, is positioned in the front row. It's getting the sound of all the amps and drums, but not so much the vocals from the house speakers. Still, great video!
@boredmx I agree , this song live sounded huge and full compared to the album version , both are amazing but i loved seeing this live . I'd have to say this track and A place in line are my favorite tracks from the Low Level Owl albums.
I don't know if its just me, but this shit takes FOREVER to load on anything I try to watch it on. The worst part, this video is fucking brilliant honestly. Too powerful.
well it is defaulted to load in hd quality. and if you dont have fast internet, then yeah it'll take awhile. I'm using ohio state's wifi so it loads in about two seconds for me, but yeah at home it'd be freakin slow.
Hard for a band to be any more perfect than this. A true rare group that will never be noticed by the mainstream.
Some of the most perfect music ever created by humans.
mystical. ive been listening to this band since the ring wars came out. powerful soundscapes. thank you for playing all these years

I agree. Sadly under-rated, even now.
This is one of my favorite Appleseed songs. The progression of the camera work in this video represents Steps's well.
Why can't I like this more than once
The transition between songs is flawless, here and on the record
great photography, great color correction.
As long as I live, I’ll never understand why this band wasn’t so much bigger than they were.
Starting at 6:20, my body goes numb. An overwhelming explosion of complex, beautiful sounds.
Thomas Maxxamus Not quite a heart attack, but close.

one of my favorite songs back in highschool
Wow! I was right next to you : ) amazing videos!
Such a great combination of songs.
all five of these artists are extremely tight. they definitely know how to harness their craft.
Scratch that, this is perfection. And outstanding work on the video/filming.
6:22 is the greatest thing ever!
kinda kool to re-watch a show you were at ....was standing just to the left of the camera...was a sweet show, great fuckin band

very underrated band!
So glad i saw them live
Wish i had heard of this band when they played in vancouver :(
these guys rock!
I just found this band and I have been addicted to the whole Low Level Owl, Vol. 1 album for weeks now.

@6Nagas6 sorry for the delayed response... If i remember correctly, the projector is mounted to the ceiling, either on stage or just above the crowd.
so good, there stuff always seems so timeless to me
I relate to this song so much, and this is so pretty 🙀
Anyone in Vancouver want to make music like this? So amazing!
Amazing amazing video. The guitars in Doors Lead to Questions sound actually even better than in the album.. SO dreamy. Aaaaaaaah, Low Level Owl.
Dude this rules..Dope ass fuck.
the vocals are low on purpose, Appleseed cast goes for the lo-fi audible soundscape, rather than pop or indie songs.
This is where every hipster goes in their most beautiful dreams.....
6:16 When they decide to develop, they really DEVELOP! lol Great stuff!
angry beards... sweet ass music.. for the soul.

yesssss!!!!! :D
fun!
Thanks for sharing. This magical band just didn't get the exposure they deserved. Too bad the vocals are so low in the mix here.
Vintage "Music Man amps" designed and produced by Leo Fender after CBS took over "Fender" guitars.
Better than Explosions in the Sky.
2:23 grooves so hard.
the bass?
Does anyone hear someone knocking at their front door at 6:28. ha.
Amp is definitely a Fender Twin...
