The anime ended in season 3 and I didn't continue reading the manga. But if Sendo, who's my favorite character, beats Ricardo Lopez then I'll read all the manga for sure.
I don't think Ricardo would be defeated by Sendo even after Wally's sacrifice and because of his age. I think Ippo would be the one to defeat him so that he could challenge Miyata with pride as the WBA champ and Sendo would be his final enemy for Japan featherweight champ after his defeat from Ricardo and fight again for their rematch.
