A man divorcing his nice wife, all young, was not the big deal made by the magazines. Mike Todd was an old man movie producer type and Liz had been married to 2 men for short times before that. Hilton and the other one. Liz herself when ask this question would answer, Richard Burton and, oh yes, Mike Todd. I think if Burton had not married some low level movie show business woman when the 2 of them were doing a show together, Liz and Burton might have married again. Liz made most of her money in perfume and investments. Had a very sketchy education in the school house for child movie stars and got out at 18 to marry soon after. No Algebra or Geometry, just general math.
