Being privy to this situation with Debbie, Liz and Eddie through what was written about it by others, not them, I always thought Debbie was classy about it. Someone you knew well,(both MGM stars), that marries your husband could not be easy ! And I didn't think Liz loved Eddie-certainly not even close to how much she loved Mike Todd-but he probably got her through many rough nights after Mike's death.
Debbie's (...and Eddie's) son Todd Fisher is still alive. He has remained under the radar for most of his life, deliberately, from what I understand - and one can hardly blame him. He appeared in an interview memorializing his mother and his sister, which was very touching and well done. He seems to be an intelligent man whose head is on straight. I certainly wish him well.

I just realized something. If I could meet someone in Heaven when I die, it would be, Carrie Fisher.
Really nice compilation of clips - thank you for this!
Do you think Eddie was tired of Debbie. Nobody gets force or and take someone away. He was a douche bag and Karma came back to bite him back. So, when Liz left him with Richard Burton, Ha! Ha!
Angie Coers Yes I know Eddie got karma when Liz left him for Richard Burton lol
Taylor was in chronic pain most of her life.
Yes. Broke her back on the set of National Velvet...
Stephanie Murray she had to have aim to justify the pills
Wow 😳 anyone can see when she turned 55 her health starting slipping away and so sad 😞 she only lived to be 60.
Ikr? Carrie didn't age well. Her Mama did, but not her. It was the drugs & booze for too many years. Poor love. I miss both of them dreadfully. 😔
i loved loved loved carrie
Carrie was such a beautiful lady...inside and out..Peace to her always
hehehehehehe Hard to get more peaceful than the grave.
RIP Carrie FISHER ♥
Carrie was brilliant. Really hilarious.
The photo at 8:07 says it all. Eddie's wife on his left, Liz on his right - his eyes are trained on Liz.
I really like Carrie Fisher's conversations and sense of humor. What a character. Talented lady. So sad that she passed away a few years back with her mother following right after.
Oh, for God's sake. Debbie and Liz patched it up. Why don't you all move on?
I agree. It's sickening to see all these people attack Liz. Really sad. They should move on
it's a funny story just like how people don't wanna admit jen aniston had no career other than friends til brad pit.
Dakdouk Roula Liz deserves it. Also you need to stop commenting everywhere.
You NEED to mind your own business. Anyone can comment anywhere they want
everyone has the right to speak their mind and give their own opinion she carrie fisher happened to have been apart of a story that apparently is still "hot " scandalous news even now and you can see in her face how annoyed she was that she had to keep answering the same question ....she could've gotten an oscar and they'd still ask her about her parents and how it made her feel!
Carrie never got to talk about her Mom nearly enough. I miss Carrie much more than I ever will anyone else.
Classy all the way
I love Carrie and Debbie
Lol Carrie is so funny! And her mother Debbie had so much class. Debbie was a beautiful lady & a great actress also.
She was hilarious
Still can't believe Carrie is gone. I sometimes watched the Original Star & I still can't believe she is gone.
She was always funny.
The ETaylor and EFisher thing was nearly 60 years ago! Who could possibly care any more!
It is all Carrie Fisher ever talked about.
Everybody is dead now
Debbie's (...and Eddie's) son Todd Fisher is still alive. He has remained under the radar for most of his life, deliberately, from what I understand - and one can hardly blame him. He appeared in an interview memorializing his mother and his sister, which was very touching and well done. He seems to be an intelligent man whose head is on straight. I certainly wish him well.
And so be it. Amen.
Carrie Fisher had to have sense a of humor because of the PAIN it's what artists do. She profited from her journey and really enjoyed her life.
I hope not
