negatives, possible eCVT going out right after the 100k warranty period, sometimes sooner if you're lucky, many reports of it in the previous model.
Unless they updated the transmission from the K114 (uniquely used on the CHR). Even though it looks great it feels a bit of a gamble because of that stupid transmission especially for the price at 40k euros for the 2.0L engine.
The top of the line model in the video is hitting almost 60k euros, which is insane.
The outgoing model where I live is being sold at a 10k euro discount for the 2.0L version which is also incredible but it feels like they want to get rid of a car that has something wrong in it's design. No one is giving you that kind of a discount for the perfect no problems vehicle.
So to me it feels like you save money on fuel (some of it) and then you get to spend all those savings on a brand new transmission that costs 10k euros hahah.
Toyota are the best cars to drive today.

CH-R is more expensive and less roomy than both of them. It costst as much as the RAV4 hybrid.

You are not starting the engine in full hybrid with the start button, you are just starting the electrical system. The system decides when it needs the engine. ;). Also in the previous video, you said that in AWD there's one motor in the front and one in the rear. There are always two electric motors in front of the Toyota Hybrid system. One is connected to the engine with planetary gear and the stronger one drives the car. In PHEV both of the front motors can drive the car.
It has one more motor on the back.

I would like to see the C-HR sold in Japan as well. Currently, if you want to buy one in Japan, you have to import it from overseas.
I have noticed, that panoramic monitor and transparent view under the vehicle is not accurate and works not the same as moving backwards? Backwards the view under the vehicle is clear and objects, road lines, signs, road bumps and potholes are visible. Isn't it?
Over 5 liters in city driving is a lot for this car. You probably don't know all the tricks of how to drive a Toyota hybrid system. I would expect 3.8 to 4.5 in that kind of drive. The trick is to keep the car as much as possible in EV mode. Driven the first gen since 2019
The drag coefficient is just 0.31.
The Toyota hybrid drive train was allways designed for cars with very low drag coefficient like the Prius !
I am sure this car can do way better though !

Super noul model, au cam exagerat cu pretul pt modelul de top, chiar si cel între. Parca mi ciuda ca mi-am luat modelul din 2019 si n-am mai așteaptat 😂

Does it have a led matrix light? I read it had adaptative lights but I´m not sure if it just turns off the high beams whenthe sensors detects a car or if it´s capable to turn off only partially the high beams.
I get about the GR and then the model but not the GR SPORT It’s like Toyota is up their game with the GR

How good is the matrix LED light and can the windscreen HUD show CarPlay navigation?
Lights are pretty good 👍 no navigation on hud 😪
And the one million question is: Corolla cross or Chr for a family car?
Both are great but for family get the one with more space in trunk. Test both and see what you like more 👍
From what I have Seen the Cross is better for people in back seat. The CHR is driver focussed and in the back has small, high windows so not as roomy for back seat passengers

doesn't that beep spamming annoy you? "face not detected", "keep your eyes on the road", "you are doing 21 on a 20 road" "beep beep beep". it's the sole reason i chose a corolla 2023.
I agree. I have had this car 4 weeks now and the Road Sign Assist beeping is driving me crazy. I can't see in the manual how to turn the beeps off so today I have messaged Toyota to see how these annoying beeps can be turned off.
