How do you control drum volume with out reducing the volume of the track?

Hi, Masoud! Thanks for your interest. On the DJ-505, there is a dedicated knob labeled “TR/Sampler Level.” This controls the volume of the built-in drum machine and sampler without affecting the level of songs loaded into the deck(s) of your DJ software.

Hi Ant, thanks for the question! The Maschine MK2 doesn’t have a direct digital connection with the DJ-505, but its outputs can definitely feed one of the mixer’s channels. That would be a cool source to use alongside some preproduced music!
