Interested in becoming a rawhide braider? Here´s my suggestion

Learning the craft of rawhide braiding can either be very rewarding and satisfying or very frustrating. Or both. Here´s my suggestion on optimising your learning curve and avoid the frusrration.

Nice video ! I know Jan personally and I highly recommend you use and trust his advice. Also the Rawhide Gathering is an excellent work shop to attend, you will learn slot. There is no replacement for hands on learning where you can feel the project all the way through the process, you get the "feel" of rawhide tempering.

Nice Video Jan. I'm fortunate to live in the same town as a Luis Ortega protege. While I'm not planning to be a braider, i do want to know what good work looks, feels and even smell like....unfortunately your Gathering is right in the middle of Elk Season in the West!
