I happened across TFK a few years ago and I must say, they're in my top 5 favorite bands and easily the most under appreciated. I've been pretty depressed the past year and a two months ago, happened to become I'll with an unexplainable swollen neck and ears ringing and minor nose bleeds. I was afraid I was going to die but after a good examination, my doctors said I have nothing to really worry about. I have bad dental issues that most likely are causing this and I'm sure anxiety isn't helping. This has me thinking about death. I'm scared. I'm almost 23 but before I know it I'll be 80. I want God in my life and know I am far from perfect. My lifestyle isn't perfect. I don't even know how to change anything. I'm planning on moving closer to home and hopefully re-aligning with who I am because being away has hurt me. I've always been a believer but never observed Gods law. I'm afraid I'm too weak to ever truly fulfill that goal. I talk to God but know not how to pray or feel his presence. I was born disabled and was made able with surgery as a very young child. I credit the Lord, my doctors and my family for being there, praying for me. I'm not the best person. I can't seem to feel comfortable being around most of my family. I have autism and OCD. The only person I really have in my life is my mom. I spend most of my days alone in a different state. I'm so scared. I have dreams and ambitions but they feel like they'll never happen. I feel so vain. I enjoy being in the present world, but as soon as I look at anything in the Bible, I get so depressed. Almost like I'm wrong for everything and anything I enjoy is a crime against God. How do I enjoy my life and fallow God? I need guidance. Trevor's disposition is more enlightening. I don't like the concept of destroying yourself to save yourself. I also looked up people's stories who coded or briefly died and they almost all say death was just being turned off with no concept of existence. That scared me and basically ruined part of my day. I'm still feeling sick and hope and pray to be OK. I don't want to loose my life, I don't want to loose myself, I don't want to loose God! What can I do? Please.
Hi dude, idk if you are still with problems, but if you are, i just wanna say that, sometimes things in the Bible can be interpreted in a really rough way and it may lead you to think that God is this cold and hearthless being. But that's not true!! I believe our Lord is full of love and compassion, cause you know, if it wasnt the case why would Jesus died in the cross, right? Trust me man, God loves you the way you are!! Yes, even if you are full of mistakes or even with feel you don't have the enough strengh to believe in Him( If that's the case you should ask for him to give you faith, BUT never keep yourself away from him ok?) . Well, and you know, hardships come and go, but I trully believe that you can get trought it! And i think God has planned great things for you. So i'm just gonna leave with this little text from Isaiah 43. 18- Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. 19- Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
