My only issue about artistree is that: if your currency is not $ it is kinda complicated. My commissions are in €, and converting in $ is kinda complicated, and having 2 different prices is kind of unfair depending on the current state of the money. Like if 20€ is 25$ it is complicated for me to put 20$ because I would in the end be paid less. I don't know, if anyone found any way to go around that and to adapt, I'm all for learning
Ooo tbh I’m not sure! I would recommend trying to contact on them on one of their socials and see if they have plans for other currency types! They’re really responsive when it comes to trying to get ahold of them, and everything I brought up to them as a concern during the process of testing it out was addressed very kindly and quickly! I’m sure they’d love to hear feedback on that!! Definitely would be useful to have!
@@solcitosaov Hey! no not really, I contacted them on their discord, and the solution some user gave was to convert to the rate, but it means changing the prices every weeks as it all fluctuate, which is not the best, and can hurt the buisness :/ I think I am going to do this anyway but ngl it's not a great solution
By the way, the our system will email you once an hour if you have unread messages! There are currently site notifications in the Navbar, but they do not play a noise. We will definitely consider adding some kind of animation or noise to alert you when you have a new message!

I have one question though, is there a way to limit the number of revisions? As I've seen artists limiting the number of revision allowed without needing to top up the charges, I wonder how it works on artistree 🤔
Glad it found you!! As for revisions I’m not too sure! I would maybe just have it listed in your description of each tier how many revisions you’re willing to do before completing a work, and then remind your clients again when formally starting the commission of the revision limit!
My biggest question is do people need an account to commission me through artistree? It would be very difficult for some of my older clients to commission me through another platform if they needed to get an account to do it. I, once I start, will commission a wide variety of age groups and want to be accessible to everyone.
I'm not sure! I think they would be able to interact as a guest as far as I'm aware!! Although I would recommend them getting an account just so they're able to keep track of everything!! That being said I don't think it's 100% required!

Hello, I'm a little confused. I've set up my Stripe account, and just recently registered to Artistree but when I connected the two, Stripe pop up as if I still don't have one. Why can't I connect Artistree to my existed Stripe? Help? ✏️🐰
Hi there! That would be a good question to contact their customer support with! Most of my commissions there were done once they added PayPal support, and I didn't have issue with stripe when setting up! But usually their customer support answers very quickly, hopefully they'll be able to trouble shoot with you! 🤞🏼

There isn't at current, but if you reach out to the dev team via their customer service it may end up being a payment option in the future! I'm not 100% sure how it works on that end [I'm assuming agreements have to be made between Artistree and Wise for that to be an option] but I do know that the dev team is super responsive to feedback and suggestions!
Stripe at the moment from what I can see is unavailable in Morocco! As for PayPal, I’m not sure why it’s not showing up because it does look like an option there!! I would recommend dming or emailing the team and seeing if they can see anything on their end!
is it possible to open commissions as an artist with a small platform? as a college student I really do need the money for daily necessities and I was hoping to open commissions but I am no big artist and I do not have a big platform :(
Absolutely! I first started doing commissions when I only had 200 followers on instagram. I didn't even have this RUclips channel yet! I think the best thing you can do is set up a commission sheet that looks pretty (which is really easy with artistree !!) and then just start sharing your sheet! Add it to your bio in any socials you have whether you have a big platform or not, someone at some point will be curious about what you have going on, and having your commission info easily accessible will make you more likely to receive them! If you have any Qs about getting set up y'all are more than welcome to ask me!! and Good luck!!
Make sure you check your payment settings and ensure everything is filled out properly! If so, check your PayPal dashboard and see if there's been any activity pending. If not, I would strongly recommend emailing their customer support! They're very responsive!

Paypal is 100% safe through Artistree! Artistree has both commissioner and artist protection! Not only that, but when someone pays through PayPal on Artistree you're paid straight away! And on the clients end, if you pay and the artist doesn't provide any work, you can contact support and they can verify that claim and refund you!! Artistree is definitely something I wholeheartedly recommend, especially if you're just beginning commissions! They didn't have this at the time of me filming, but they now have a marketplace platform too, so clients are able to scroll through and find your work there- no previous audience needed!! They also make it really easy to set up your commission info so you don't have to stress about trying to make a nice looking sheet. You just plug your examples in and they organize it all pretty. 10/10 recommend!!
Can you also additionally/ passively use artistree to build your email list? 📧Because i heard that managing commissions per email is a great way to collect the E-Mail addresses from your biggest supporters! 🌱Or would that not work, or be inappropriate for the client?🤔
To be honest I'm not sure! I've never heard of using this method! I also personally don't see any email info from clients as far as I'm aware! Since everything is paid and sent through artistree I haven't had any need for email info!
Yes!! I’ve received quite a few through them! As far as artist/consumer ratio I’m not too certain! As far as I’m aware it’s not like a regular social media site where clients can scroll through and find artists using the service. It’s more along the lines of having your commission info easily accessible so people who are interested in your work can find and navigate it easier!
I was setting up my page and I tried to connect my cashapp card, cuz that the only card I have and paypal won't accept me. Am I doing it wrong or does Artistree not accept cashapp cards?
I spoke to the Co-Owner and it sounds like they don’t currently have the option to support CashApp, but it is on the list!! Hopefully should be available in the future 🥰

Artistree allows you to sign up as an artist or as a client, and if you're looking to commission someone you'll have to check through their social media and find their artistree page if they have one listed directly!!
