    The buddy out there, helping out with the chainsaw.. he should ask the boss (if there's any? ) that he gets a jacket and gloves (and heat inserts for shoes) that are heated.
    So, anybody who has/wants to help can use that too and with these really cold nights/day shifts it is not so uncomfortable..
    I guess that the camera guy could have switched a little bit too? (Don't know if he did but just saying ☺ )
    And the Piston is a sweet machine, like the wider and tiny bit deeper bite of the corduroy track very much!
    Look super neat and can imagine boarding over that is a treat!
    Driving over it with a tracked car isn't bad too 😎🤘🏼

      Hey there! This was a very informal arrangement, devised by Stuart, I think, and luckily won't be needed very often. Kyle is very helpful and was stoked to ride along, chainsawing. It was just the most efficient way to do it, having him do all the cutting, due to the number of trees. Stu helped clear limbs a bit, and I mostly just filmed, haha. I thought he'd be cold, too, but he wound up getting really sweaty and overheated back there! Very nice of you to look out for us though!! Hoping to make more vids asap! Thanks so much for watching!!!

    I started working in Breckenridge as a first year snowcat operator. In the past few months, I've driven the old PB 600, new PB 600, and a couple of 2017 PB 400s. I like both the 600 and 400. I will say that the 400 does feel stiffer in both control, and tiller. I can leave the 400 tiller in float on trails that the 600 tiller needs to be locked on.
    The new PB 600s are really cool. I'm a fan of the new joystick.

    What a beauty! 😍😍 are the lights original? The ones on the tiller are the same as on the new level reds… is the tiller missing some guards? Just that it’s so full of snow on top? Cool video 😁

    • @samlovescars34
      @samlovescars34  Год назад

      They seem to be original, and Stu says that he's seen variations in factory lighting on these cats. I think the tiller is all there.. It's visible in detail in the tiller acquisition video for reference. Thanks so much for tuning in!!

    (Question at the end)
    Hi there. I have been watching a lot of the snowcat videos on this channels and love it.
    I am a property owner in the Utah Rockies, and my wife and I own a Can-am SxS with tracks. It does not really do well in a lot of snow. We are at 8,700' elevation...and currently have about 8' of snow. We do own a 1980 Thiokol Super Imp with a blade...but it doesn't really do what I would like to...especially since I was pretty dumb buying it without proper grousers before I knew much about snowcats. In addition I own a Kubota M5 tractor with a rear pull 8' snow blower.
    So...I have a question: On our property I have made about 3 miles of road, and we have maybe 4-5 miles from our gate to an area where we park our cars. If I should get another snowcat...does anyone have any suggestion for one (brand and model)? It will be used to maintain our three miles road that have a few switchbacks, and is pretty steep a few places. The road is a bit narrow some places, but I am going to widen it out this year so that I can have a 10-12' wide road... And...I am not sure if a tiller would be necessary.

    You should try the DeWlt bttery powered top handle saw and the pole saw works really well for what you are doing in this vid!!

    I noticed when you took delivery of the new snow cat there were Steal gates that seem to block off your community from the highway system, how do the residents of your community get to town

    • @samlovescars34
      @samlovescars34  6 месяцев назад

      Hi! So there is another gate, more commonly used, on the other side of the community, leading towards town. It has a key which residents are able to obtain in various ways, haha. People ride a snowmobile to their cars. Thanks for watching!!!
