Windows can support up to 8 GPUs without a headache but you can push it further. You can have more than 8 but it will probably be a headache. With Linux it should work perfectly but if its AMD nvidia it might tricky, If you need any more help feel free to ask us on our discord!
Absolutely it can definitely work it's just your more likely to run into issues there than Linux. I personally use windows 10 for all of them since my rigs at most 8 gpus, tried a 13 GPU NVIDIA + AMD was not fun at all 😂😂
Do all the cards have to be the same to mine in one mining software program? The reason I ask is I have two different AMD cards and only one starts mining. If I unplug the one that's mining then the other starts up. I'm using an Asus B250 Mining Expert motherboard, an AMD RX 580 and an old AMD R9 380x. I'm using Betterhash right now but they do the same thing in Cudo Miner. My computer sees both cards and everything is fine. They both run a benchmark successfully but when I hit "apply" and start mining only one card will run? Any ideas?

Question: I have managed to get an rx6800XT and also have a spare rx5600XT to get me started, from what I hear it's ok to mix gpus in the rig but when I dont understand is do I need to install different drivers for each card and will they conflict? Or do I just download the radeon software and both cards will show up in there no problem?

Hi mate, thanks very much for your previous help, I really appreciate it. With the B250 mining expert, I tried to plug in more GPU graphics in the socket A, but only three of them working, the rest shows error in red. But when I first got this motherboard, all the GPU sockets working. Have you ever encountered the same issue, how did you solve this problem, thank you and sorry to bother you again.

So I am confused about how you get from Windows 10 USB drive to the monitor changing the Bios. Do I just plug in the USB into a monitor and turn it on?
what the f did you just say, your bios is on your pc. plug the usb into your pc/motherboard to boot from it and to get into bios you just need to spam f12 or del

I do have downloaded window 10 in the little flashcard. But I don't see any options to select for the Boot Option # 1 or 2. Is there something that I am missing?

All the operating system stuff is similar, it only becomes different when downloading drivers for your gpu and overclocking it! Which we have a guide to do so on our channel for tuning the 5700 XTs
When you go in and change the virtual memory size from from 16-24000 mb, how did you figure that up? I have 4 AMD 6800 16gb and am trying to figure out how much I should increase it. If you could help that'd be awesome?

Maybe try a manual miner instead of Cudo miner. Give Claymore or Phoenix miner a try !

Yes although in windows its complicated but in Linux it's fairly easy. Check our HiveOS guide,, we used a mix rig in it!

Did you flash windows 10 on the usb the way we did it or did you just drag and drop the image file? You will need to make sure to flash it!

around 4000 - 5000 MB per GPU is usually fine !
