David Santamaria My family we've always owned fords and we've always worked at ford plants and i can say the same for my dads 2001 f150 and 2012 f150 my dad has been rear ended in both of those trucks and nothing but a scratch on the bumper and the other cars have had major front end damage. My personal experience with ford is amazing and my person experience with jeeps are amazing even though i know jeeps are less reliable because at the end of the day it's a chrysler product.
That’s because fords are build to crumple to an extent to keep occupants safe. If someone crashes into you the right way at high speed all that force gets transferred to your body instead of absorbed you’ll die on impact from all the g-forces and trauma but hey at least your body will be in one piece.
Rear of the car is always way stronger than the front part, it needs to crumple, if the same jeep gonna rear end you, the rear-ended car would be totaled
