    I have a side hustle. 80% of business loan applicants are declined by banks. Yep. 80%, my side hustle is providing them with free business consulting. You see, I’ve been a business lender for over 18 yrs. I know what it takes to be approved by a bank. My goal is to provide you with capital now even if it’s not a traditional bank loan. We all start somewhere. The plan is to help you out today and as you grow

    My side hustle is baking (cakes, pies, cookies, breads- old school desserts that stores don’t sell too). Some months it’s brought in close to 1k a month just baking 1 day a week for colleagues. I’ll retire in 3 years when the last one goes off to college then I’ll bake and cook for a few of my coworkers ( deliver lunches). I just love to cook😊

      Hi @Nisa-gm5wg! I would love to know more! I would love to do this. I don’t even know what I want to know, lol 😂 . I guess the. if you think this would be a profitable business if I went all in.

      I live 500 miles from my mother. I would love to find a service that could provide real meals for her. When I was there I would make everything from scratch. It would be a comfort to me and people like me to know that she's getting 1-2 good, delicious and nutritious meals. Also, with delivery, someone is at least putting their eye on her daily.

    • @katrinab7657
      @katrinab7657 6 месяцев назад

      @@kathryn9374 I am guessing that if you had clients with the funds that understood the health benefits of real food, you could probably make a good living.
      I recently attended a 5 day challenge with a woman named Dr Karwanna D. She teaches how to get VERY high dollar government contracts to do the things you love and make 10X or more than you charge privately. Check out her channel. You might be surprised how lucrative your gift can be. I plan on teaching dance. I usually did it for free. (Who knew I could get $$$$ like that?)
      Good luck with your business

    • @Nisa-gm5wg
      @Nisa-gm5wg 6 месяцев назад

      @@kathryn9374 yes it can be very profitable especially once you get consistent customers. My coworkers now request large orders throughout the week as well for special occasions like birthdays, anniversaries etc. I started just by making treats as gifts for people Christmas. They asked if they could buy more. I started making cookies then it progressed to selling individual slices of a cake and then other desserts. I sell a pack of cookies (3) for $2 and a slice of cake for $3. I also package it so pretty. You’ll be surprised what you can do at the dollar stores or getting things really cheap after the holidays are gone. I know I could charge more but I get my supplies always on sale and I make my own vanilla extract. Because of the prices they keep coming back every week. I no longer have to ask what they want because they come looking for me. I’ve even started to make some meals as well ( homemade soups with fresh bread or burritos and Mexican rice) . It also helps that I garden and can food’s especially when it goes on sale. My homemade pickles from the garden last year did so well. A lot of my cooking experience I learned from my grandmother and great Aunts but canning and gardening I learned from You Tube ( Sutton daze and homestead heart are great if you want to know about those two things). I pray this helps

      @@katrinab7657 I know from recent personal experiences. I lost my mom 4 days before Christmas 2023 and my parents were married for 52 years. My mom did everything for my dad and he is just lost. They relocated here about 10 years ago to be closer because my dad’s siblings were dying off. . He’s the only one left of his siblings now. It’s been a blessing to be able to step in and help my dad. He lives 2 miles from me. I plan just about all his meals for breakfast and lunch and he eats dinner with us. Something ones he’s stubborn or just having a moment so I pack him dinner and take it to him. I call everyday and lay eyes on him just about everyday. That gives me a peace of mind. The goal is for home to eventually live with us but he doesn’t want to just yet. I believe he feels like a burden to us. He’s definitely not.
      I would suggest that you check with the churches around the area especially if your mom faithfully attends one. There are usually Great cooks at church to and they may have a ministry that provides that service. That’s a goal of mine once I retire to provide meals for our elderly members or just for people in need ( for free too). It also helps that my hubby is on board too ( he’s the pastor😊). Pray this helps and sorry if I was too long

      I know! I'm glad I found a reply that acknowledges it. This is the second video of his I've watched, and neither actually address what the titles say, at least in detail. EVERYTHING he says, at least for the 2 vids I've seen, is vague or EXTREMELY niche.

    I really enjoy that your videos are broad and very inclusive. You give the baseline information and you share your experience and how it applies. You give ideas that people can build on. Making it work from there is the individuals gift and effort.

    Community Colleges usually operate with a large number of part-time (adjunct) instructors. This may be true for four-year colleges in your area too. Usually, anyone with a masters degree would be qualified to teach in the department of your degree. My full-time job is pastor of a small church. I have taught many courses for my local community college in Psychology (I attained the M.A. in Psychology before pursuing ministry education). Advantages: Good pay for the time involved, variety of scheduling (evenings and sometimes Saturdays are needed), limit on the time demand- short-term commitments (when the semester ends the course ends and off during summer/Christmas or winder holiday break), and once you have syllabus and materials (lecture and exams) there is minimal time in preparation. Disadvantages: pay is not good enough to piece a full-time equivalent, could demand some extra time to prepare (especially if you have never taught an academic course), scheduling of courses may not fit easily with your full-time work, and you may have to drive to an extension campus that may require more time/money (sometimes reimbursement of travel expense may be added but not always).

      My son just graduated in May 2024 with his masters of architecture. He was a grad assistant and was teaching a course. They asked him to continue teaching the class. He does have a full time job as well and the college is only a 15 minute commute. He also sings at weddings and does art work. So proud and excited for him

Costs for vehicles, insurances, living expenses, garbage disposal, food, vehicle repairs, and many other things have skyrocketed over the last few years. This is great that you shared these ideas, and I hope they help people.

    I want to comment negatively about online sales specifically drop shipping as they aren't as logical to consumers in comparison to buying the same products from the two companies you mentioned with a quicker delivery time. Other than that I want to thank you for sharing and teaching more of us how to market ourselves, save our lives productively and think towards personal financial foundations. I hope to share one day in the near future.

    SMB, best (and only) side hustle video I've seen that makes any sense. Reason being it's about expanding on what you already are, NOT taking some boat ride ticket from an Honest John. Bottom line (with all of them), you have to eventually love, or at least like your creation, or it's not going to happen. I've recently discovered online POD through AI, which is flattering, but...Everything that grows gets weeds, nothing is set it and forget it. If I have a side hustle it's that and it's so much fun. But I know it's going to take months to see success (not weeks) so you've gotta 'be true to what you do!'. Thanks for a great foray into the idea of healthy side hustling.
