crocodile is the coldest villain. The moment when he sends away that sandstorm to yuba just to fuck with luffy is some next level evil genious. but the best thing about him is that he adressed luffy as "mizu luffy" after he drank all the water, that is the best moment in the whole arc for me.
I think Randy is right. Zoro had all 3 haki early on. He is introduced and described as having an intense aura of menace, that's CoC imo, before Oda revealed and fleshed that out.

I want Mihawk to beat Fujitora.
I don't see any strawhat beating him cos he's a good guy, and that way Mihawk can actually beat an admiral. Also i feel that Fujitora fruit is pretty interesting and that way we could see a cool (but hopefully short) showing of his strength while advancing the "Mihawk need to win against someone important onscreen" agenda.

I thought Oda was going to reintroduce Crocodile during Whole Cake Island. I had a theory that he was one of the guests to the tea party and that he was Capone's secret boss behind Big Mom's assasination attempt. I would have loved that because to me it made no sense that capone thought he could kill BM
I think the most we're gonna get for seeing Mihawk fight someone big is a flashback to a duel with Shanks. Doesn't take anyone out of the story we might expect the Strawhats to fight, shows Mihawk do some cool stuff, gives hints of Shanks' power too. It just does a lot of work.
Thats true, we only saw Whitebeard fight in the arc where he died and he only had 1 real prolonged 1v1 with Akainu. He flexed sure but I'm sure, but i think it'll be ok if we see Mihawk flex a little and only have 1 real 1v1 with Zoro.

A1 as in there's no way that concept art is for caribou and saying it looks like caribou is a bigger stretch than Luffy's fist about to hit Ussop in Water 7.

I think one interesting aspect of the Alabasta arc was how well the personal enmity was set up between the protagonist and antagonist. Saving Vivi and Alabasta, as well as defeating Crocodile became a personal thing for Luffy. The final battle in the tomb was a great culmination of that with them proclaiming their opposing ideals and that in order to advance, Luffy needed to overcome Crocodile and prove he can do what Crocodile failed to do years ago in trying to get the crown of the Pirate King with Luffy's philosophies and ideals of being able to trust his friends. It was a great clash of ideals. I love Dressrosa and I love Doffy but I still don't know what really motivated Luffy there, besides, 'Doflamingo made the girl who bought me lunch cry'. I know that is reductivist but it felt like it a lot of the time, Luffy even proclaimed that a few times if I recall.
My theory about mihawk his a celestial dragon same lineage with imu their eyes being complete similar. maybe thats their clan trade mark being a dracule since its red in the manga like ochiha in naruto having sharingan ... Also mihawk looks like a royale blood not a typical pirate living on gloomy kingdom like imu living on kingdom of mariejoa ... Mihawk got inspired by roger to become a pirate and pursue piracy but not to become a pirate king but to become the worlds strongest/greatest swordsman since most probably during roger era roger and rayleigh is the best swordsman ... Thats also the reason why mihawk is on roger execution becaused mihawk dreamed of challenging roger 1 day but feel betrayed by roger surrendering to wg and thats the start of mihawk becoming a marine hunter and started his rivalry with shanks after mihawk found out that shanks is roger's crewmate and also a swordsman ... But sadly mihawk once again feel betrayed by shanks losing his arm ... And thats the moment mihawk decide to join the wg as a warlord becaused for him theirs no worthy challenged anymore. until he meet zoro in baratie and at that moment mihawk felt the same feeling during the time his figting shanks ... In own words of mihawk while clashing with zoro "i've never seen such a ferocious swordplay in such a long time" atleast something like that...indicating his last and final fight with shanks the fight that even whitebeard got impressed becaused their duel is such a legendary! Dont hate this guys its just my theory can easily debunked so yeah just for fun 😁

Kaido's flashback was honestly to gas up Joy Boy in my opinion, which definitely ended up undermining Kaido as a character. It probably would have been better if Kaido didn't actually have that flashback.
Blackbeard is different from your normal One Piece villains, he's more along the lines of the comic relief villains, except he actually has power and strength. The reason I say he's more like the comic relief villains is because he's extremely cautious and doesn't pull up on anyone unless he feels pretty certain he can beat them.
To this day you can't convince me that Luffy didn't ALSO use Haki in his final confrontation with Crocodile.
Firstly, if he didn't, that means Zoro (assuming *he* did) touched on Haki hundreds of chapters before Luffy. Zoro is only ever allowed to be showcased ahead of Luffy under the auspice that by the time the arc ends, Luffy remind everyone why he's the captain.
Secondly, the symbolism, visual foreshadowing and practical reality of Luffy coating his fists with blood. It represented his unyielding will to defeat Crocodile, which is later formalized as haki; it looked nearly identical to armament coating and blood dries rather quickly, it could not possibly remain wet and allow him to punch Crocodile for the duration of their final fight.

If Mihawk’s flashback is ever revealed, I am hoping to see if he defeated the previous strongest swordsman to earn that title, whoever that was. Hell, the previous “world’s strongest swordsman” can be from Rocks Pirates too, since so many hidden monsters are apparently from that group. Some no-name twenty-year-old taking down someone like that would immediately put Mihawk on WG radar.
That G-1 base commander from the anime will probably be Canon because Momonga can't even defeat Kiku.
Idk if this was said, but RE morj's Mihawk must get a good fight before Zoro, I think he should hunt down Fujitora. Fuji already clashed w Zoro, so clearly he's strong. He's also an admiral. And arguably he no longer needs to be Zoros marine opponent now that Greenbull is in the mix. Plus hes a good guy and shouldnt be pit against the strawhats. Best use for him is to be hunted by Cross Guild.
I agree with the whole Vivi thing and how we felt about Vivi and Crocodile by the end. I also love Crocodile, there's a moment he gives a speech that really kicks Tashigi while she's down, after Robin broke fucked up her leg. But are we trying to diminish that emotional "DAMN IT" from Law right before Doffy and Luffy have a CONQUEROR'S CLASH! That moment was so HEAT! I may not have teared up like with crocodile, but I was hype and there was a huge sigh of relief

Robin actually saved Wano back in Alabasta, when she hide the location of Pluton from Crocodile, since now we all know to get Pluton is to destroy the “wall” surrounding Wano. Crocodile’s sand power can LITERALLY destroy that wall (and the entire Wano country in the process) without confronting Kaido at all.
I mean, Kaido and everyone else are on top of the wall/mountain, what are they supposed to do? If Robin told Crocodile back then that Pluton is in Wano and only accessible by tearing down the wall, Crocodile would immediately go there beneath the waterfall in a coated ship and turn the wall into sand. Croco-boy is not going to care Wano country and Onigashima falls into the sea in the process.

If you watched oharas video he explains every question people have to doubt crocomom. Why he fought luffy was explained pretty well. Theres plenty of evidence for why he was a she, plus the bread crumbs oda has left us. A little while after we met crocodile was when oda said we have seen luffys mom b4 in the story.

I remember the exact moment I put Crocodile above Doflamingo, Is when Doffy DIDN'T swap the flame-fruit for another fake one, giving Sabo the chance to steal it. Before that point, I thought they were on similar intellect level, after that nope. In the same situation Crocodile would've absolutely swap the fruit.

Crocodile isn’t that better then doffy they bother had their mistake. Like crocodile had the crew lock up in prison cell set up a trap but he legit just leaves to capital doesn’t even has a person there to make sure they died. While the fruit is less of a fuck up because it served his goal he wanted luffy be distracted and keep eye on him. He gave that job to one his most trusted officer to handle that, it not his fault diamante lost the fruit that like saying it doffy fault that sugar was knocked out she was well guarded that a henchman fuck up. He also couldn’t predict that sabo related to luffy and trade places with him crocodiles legit didn’t even plan for robin betraying him
@@zdgilgamesh9646 Croc put a hole through Luffy’s chest and Luffy lives. Akainu put a hole through Ace’s chest and Ace dies. Croc can kill Luffy fifty times and the result would be the same (just look at how much Kaido tried). There is no “make sure MC dies” when MCs literally cannot die.

The only really good thing we learned from Wano is the fact that sea prism stone cuffs help devil fruit users get stronger. So that gives Oda an excuse to make Croc (and Doffy when he escapes) stronger in this new saga.
Maybe with the whole Mihawk vs Admiral or Vice Admiral you could meet in the middle.
There are the Admiral canidates who got added over the timeskip and they currently don't serve a purpose.
So Mihawk could beat/kill one of them although Admiral would be of course more interesting.

I also think that Crocodile was a better villain than Doflamingo. Doflamingo didn't have any drive or larger plan (which would have improved the story) he was just sitting around in Dressrosa.
Additionally Doffy seems to just have everything handed to him while Crocodile had to work for it. Doffy had his celestial dragon blackmail and two Devil fruits which were perfect for taking over a country while Crocodile had to actually build a plan and not just march in.
I feel like there one big misunderstanding about doffy character , he a manipulator he had full control of the world where he almost untouchable. Funding kaido smiles to start a war, force the government to make him warlord so they can’t go, control dressrosa , being biggest broker and selling to every big player. All he has to do is to wait till world burn. The point of doffy back story is he lost everything and work to the top his goal to have celestial dragon dragged down like him so he can team with anyone and has info to shake the world. They are different people crocodile is schemer mafia boss while doffy is oppressive tyrant it ur opinion who u like more but both are earned

I like vivi but people act like she got more development then characters like nami etc. I get it subjective but I felt the stakes more in dressrosa then albaster and I think crocodile is not a better villian then don flamingo. Even though i agree they both are legendary villians.
