In the beta now, the combos are harder to extend, there is a sort of end lag which gives the opponent enough space to breathe a little bit. I think the developpers did not wanted the players to 0 to death
You've gotta learn your move cancels
Which is a good thing, because in alot of game, people just spam combo after you got hit once, but in multiversus you can still fight back if you got attacked

I think it was a bad idea to use clips from the alpha. The Beta (final release) feels very different. Some combos don't seem to work the same.

I spammed tornado a lot today with taz, first night playing and went on a 5 game winning spree (then I played league for a game or 2 before bed) I'm watching tutorials so I can stop spamming so he doesn't get nerfed lol. He's my favorite character so far. Also... anyone notice in the 99.99$ priced game that their giving 30 character tokens? 🤔... there's only like 14 characters rn (didn't count) but that means tons more are coming. LOVE THE GAME. Worth the 40 for preorder.
You didn't have to spend 40 to play early all you really had to do was watch a twitch stream for an hour with drops enabled (for free)

The video looks really good, i love the transitions and the clarity with buttons pressed. The only issue i have is the pacing - everything goes so fast from subject to subject I can't really follow up 😅 I know the game is fast but slow down with those explanations! 💪

Yo dude that was sick. I realized I was playing a totally different game. Didn't realize the depth that was in the water in front of me. I was just having fun in the kiddie pool. If its possible I would've liked to see the entire combo notation all at once somewhere on the screen during the showcase. Just so I wouldn't have to slowmo to write it all down for practice. Wonderfully done video!

She has but they are very di dependent most of combos shown here will pretty much never work (especially those with very high down air rebounds)

The problem of combos is that they dodge every single time
I definitely love the quality of work put into this video, however as someone who's pretty new at doing tech like attack and jump cancels, I was saddened when I didn't see the inputs for these kinds of maneuvers on the screen, especially for the Charged Attack Dash Cancel. Maybe I'm just missing something?

Yeah 90% of these animation cancels are outdated. Special cancels seems like the only ones left in the game.

As a beginner this was a very unhelpful tutorial. More time should have been spent on execution with the cancelling section (0:40-1:29). Please break things down into parts. Just showing someone doing combos flawlessly while saying words & flashing acronyms doesn't teach. Felt like the video was in a hurry to get to the Combo showcase.

They decreased the window to cancel so it's a bit harder. You have to cancel it like right as it lands

I do not understand anything from this.
Down air normal, jumping cancel into down air, jump cancel into neutral air. All characters have Neutral/Side/Up/Down Normals and Neutral/Side/Up/Down Specials. These can all be done on the ground or in the air. Cancels are when you hit something to cancel out the end of an animation to allow you to combo into another move. You'll need a general fighting game glossary to get started.
"You can use fastfall to cancel multihit aerials"

I tried and tried to get early access but it’s whatever I rather buy the founders pack standard edition instead I’ll get some exclusive items with it that’s even better
They literally have a checklist on there website to get into early access once you log in. It's very simple don't waste that money the first founders pack is awful.

Although the video goes into alot for really cool mechanics it does nothing to explain the "how" in the title. Sure, I can look all these mechanics up or figure it out myself, but the video doesn't teach you how to combo. I'm assuming this is because you guys assume the watcher is a smash player.
