If she would do some more songs from Come On Over (only one included in medley of older stuff, ‘When’) and maybe The Woman in Me or What Made You Say That
I think she created the setlist in mixing big hits (the most popular songs), songs from all her albums and new ones 😊 She needs to satisfy each one of us.
I love Shania since day one, and yes, she is lip-syncing most of the songs or using backing tracks, but no one should be surprised after what she has been through. Her voice will never be what it used to be and her true fans will understand that if they really care about her and want to see her live in concert. These are all her songs and her recorded vocals and so what? She puts on one hell of a show, so full of energy and sass. She loves performing, but there are songs she just can't sing live anymore due to her voice changing after her Lyme disease. One of my favorites. "Forever and for Always" is just one of the songs and there are so many more, but we should applaud her resilience and her will to show up for her fans. Those of us who love her and all her music will not bash her or post negative comments. She does not have to tour or do anything more for her career but is doing the touring and recording of new music for her fans, so please appreciate that and be respectful if you are a fan. If not, you have no business posting about her at all
@@MistaChanel The reason I don’t like it is because it was constructed for only one outfit the entire show and the songs are everywhere, there’s really no rhythm, It’s no different than her usual festival shows
Yeahhh the way I see it is her voice wore out pretty early on in the show and it only got worse and worse, singing like that every concert would cause a lot of permanent damage on her already-damaged vocal chords! :/
The title fits with the way I feel about the band changes. Especially over the past 5 yrs, fans have been spoiled by a rock drummer that had precise pocket drumming skills, understood tempo and feel, and was most creative. Then there was that stylish flair with class, always had a smile, and was a joy to watch play. It's hard to tell from a cam video, but this change seemed more like Bam-Bam from the Flintstones. The loss of the second violinist from the residency is also significant. Yes, the shows needed a shake-up due to repetitiveness, but not like this.

I love Shania, and saw her two nights later in Seattle. The sound was unbalanced and crushingly loud. The lighting was blinding. I believe autotune was being used and some (or most) of the instrumentation and background voices were recorded. Her long blonde wig was a distraction and her facial appearance has definitely changed. There were some bumpy moments in the pacing of the show and some dead air. Her patter between songs was sometimes awkward. Maybe things will smooth out as she gets deeper into the tour.
Thank you for putting into words what I could not articulate!! The vibe at the Seattle concert was just...off. Normally I feel an energy coming from the performer/band in a live setting. It was clear during the opening number something was amiss. I half wondered if it was even Ms. Twain on stage since she came out hiding behind sunglasses/wearing a weird blonde wig, didn't sound that great and almost seemed bored. First time in my life I have ever walked out on a show. Glad we can still watch her older performances here on RUclips 💖🎶🤠
@@Alisonws Shania is 57 years old. I understand that she is promoting a new album and celebrating life. One of the things I admire about Shania is her strength when things go bad (the death of her parents, her divorce, her illness). I was hoping for an age appropriate concert of "this is my music, yesterday and today." We didn't get that in Seattle. We got the overblown sizzle to mask the musical shortcomings, and not the steak. And the sizzle was far better at 37 than 57. Maybe the other shows will come off better. However, she got a good review in the Seattle Times and the crowd was raucous.

@@Michi1986 she's spoken a lot recently about the tour being centred around her voice & that she's ready to bring her 'new voice' and sing live etc. So I had a lot of faith thinking this would be great. But here we are with her miming to 20-30+ year old vocals (with the odd new pre-recorded vocal here and there), no dancers etc. It's a shame really cos the set list is EPIC and she was great at the NOW tour.
Her voice and it's modulation abilities are severely impacted by her Lyme's Disease. She can't, in good faith, allow the audience to have that experience because she understands what it means. The recordings are different a lot of the time, so it means she is taking time, pre-tour to record the vocals (and you can hear this in the depth of her voice in the tracks where the sound is isolated and confined to a studio, then amplified for tour purposes). It's not as if her voice is the way that it is today because of instances of drug abuse, smoking etc. (Whitney, Mariah) she developed a condition that means her ability to sing is restricted and even when she tries to sing, there's a noticeable difference - which she's aware of and will be conscious of. She shouldn't have to not tour simply because she can't sing live consistently for a 2-hour show. We enjoy her music, her energy, her spirit, her message.
@@jeffbrown4256 I can understand some level of lip-synching, but more than 75% of the concert is lip-synch. If she can’t sing more than three or four songs live, then she should not tour again.

She sounds great her
Completely agreed. Went to the Seattle show and I was embarrassed for her
Like the other bands she had black hair looks better
I love the setlist and visuals! What a shame that she won't play European shows 😢
