I actually think Mutt Lange did Shania a favour in a sad kind of way that he went about it. He showed his true colours. He is now 70 & Shania 53, & still radiant. Look at the guy she is married to now. He is younger than Shania & they are a beautiful couple together. Don't forget that he went through the same betrayal as Shania. Their love wasn't instant, how could it be, maybe more so from Shania, but developed over three years. They look so happy together & I truly believe they are. They deserve each other & I am so happy for the both of them. Long may their happiness & love for each other stay strong. So happy for you Shania that you are at peace with your demons. It has been a long hard battle & I appreciate your thoughts & saying you have forgiven, but have you really? Because you will never forget. I know. l have been through a similar thing & I know I can't forgive but just learn to deal with it. Some days are good, others ok & some still overwhelming & I have my moments. I was at your last performance of your Shania Now tour on the 22nd December in Dunedin New Zealand. Loved every second of it, and love you. Glad you are ok. You are an angel & you absolutely deserve all your success. It was hard fought for from a young age in very difficult times & circumstances. Mutt Lange came into your life for a reason. It was just meant to be. His coming into your life, while it may be bitter/sweet, the universe opened up for you & he kicked you off on the world stage & gave you your beautiful child. Life has not been easy for you with all these "lessons" it has put you through, but it has made you a beautiful person on the inside. You are drop dead gorgeous on the outside but your inner person is equally as beautiful. I love seeing your interviews & the way you answer & deal with all the hard emotional questions. We can all learn from your experiences & your messages in your music. I for one will never tire of you. You are the full package. We are blessed to have you. From my heart I wish you & Fred the best of days together for the rest of your lives. God bless. Kia kaha. (Kia Kaha is a Maori word: means stand strong. Our strength comes from working together with our natural environment and creative minds.)

Wow, such a heart felt and genuine narration. This surely shows how her continuous fight for her voice finally won the day- and how her entire life's success was built upon continuous perseverence. Very inspiring, as she AND this story should help all listeners appreciate whatever benefits life has brought them. What a great human being, as well as a great Canadian. Un gros merci de Montreal.

I kept thinking IM ALRIGHT was appropriate to mention for their conversation. And she mentioned Life's About To Get Good and he mentioned Poor Me, and I kept saying I'm Alright, then finally she mentioned it. Yay. But it really is the most important song on her album for her recovery... starts sad "You let me go, you had to have her" and turns into a positive song in the chorus.
    My three favorites are

Shania has gone from being an Olympic athlete of vocal control to a Special Olympics athlete - while still trying to compete at the Olympic level. The fact that her fans know all that is part of her appeal. In the past, she was probably just having fun performing while every guy in the audience basically dreamed about being her man. Now, her openness and acceptance makes her just as attractive - maybe not to a young buck who wants to roll with Ariana Grande but to a guy my age? Oh my goodness, Come On Over! I would love to write a song with her.

Strange connection how Avril Lavigne got her first start on Shania Twain's stage....and then contracts Lyme's Disease, only to have Shania end up with the same? Odd, especially considering how rare it is to get Lyme's Disease in the first place as only 5% of tick bites end up leaving a person with the disease.

Mmm. Not sure I agree with that. I think that where there is a will there is a way. Shania is such an incredibly driven person. I really admire that. Her voice may never be exactly as it was but it can still be good. When someone gets injured they don't just roll over and give up. This is no different. Her tenacity is EXACTLY why she got where she did and why so many others don't.
