Unpacking Tektronix TDS1012 Oscilloscope

I recently got a good deal on Taobao and manage to get the TDS1012 for around 100 bucks shipping included. The unit came in decent condition and working properly. I have future plans to upgrade this to TDS2012 to get color display using my own FPGA based mod board (that I'm currently working on) and potentially upgrade to TDS2022 to get 200MHz bandwidth and 2GS/s sample rate.

几天前，我买了一个Rigol DS1202ze，200MHz，大概200美元。比你的这个老古董看起来要新多了，功能看起来也更强。当然也更贵了，不过还好，可以负担，我是一个中年人了。

@@罗建-g4h I got this thing and I have a plan to upgrade it to 200MHz 2GS/s. Sadly that this thing only has 2.5k memory depth (It's built into the ADC). But most of the time I got away using logic analyzer, this scope would probably be for some specific use such as signal identification or integrity verification.
