Xabyte Err, no. Languages evolve - the oldest languages in Europe would be Basque, which isn’t related to any other current language, and Lithuanian which is reckoned to be closest to Proto-Indo-European. Then there’s Greek, of course, but that’s very different from Ancient Greek. Primitive Welsh evolved from British by around 550 AD, then into Old Welsh by around 800, Middle Welsh by the 12th century, and Early Modern Welsh by around 1400. Late Modern Welsh is reckoned to date from the translation of the Bible in 1588.
