- A gunman was shot and captured by Lebanese soldiers after a shootout outside the U.S. Embassy outside Beirut on Wednesday morning.
This comes as tensions continue to flare between Israel and Hezbollah as well as the ongoing feud between Israel and Hamas.
According to the Lebanese military the gunman is described as a 'Syrian national.' Alex Traiman with the Jewish News Syndicate weighs in.

Lebanon was the most beautiful country in the Middle East. When the Muslims gained over 50% of the population all hell broke loose. Beirut was totally destroyed.
