    For those who drank the haterade this morning, stop it. She sounds so happy. It's all so organized. I love this. It's so sweet. It sounds like this is her way of enjoying being outdoors, and others benefit from it. It's really cute. Who knows....this could be the gateway to thruhiking. For some, it starts off big, bulky (and heavy), then eventually, they want lighter and lighter gear. I am happy for her. Very happy. 🥰

    I love her setup. Especially since I learned the hard way the importance of a comfortable bed while camping. Camping is literally the opposite of sitting at home on your phone. It can get boring very quick if you don’t have distractions, so it’s best to have a campsite you can move around in and keep yourself busy.

    Love your setup!! Who cares what the haters say. I'm an avid camper for over 25 years now and this is the way I camp now! Thanks for the video!

      Ya know what ur right I was a little disgusted on how much money she spent on frivolous things for her first time camping, but she doesn’t want to rough it and she’s enjoying herself and at least her dog gets to go campjng

    I am glad you are getting more people to get out in nature! People think you have to suffer for it to be considered camping and that is not true. Fresh air and sunshine is healthy. Why not enjoy a glass of wine or expresso at the same time?

  • @gitakiss5801
    @gitakiss5801 3 года назад +15

    The way I see it is that kids are outside and enjoying nature. They are doing something different and this is a fun experience for them. If someone is new to camping and not sure how well they can handle really roughing it at first its a good start. These are just ideas

    Let be honest its not "comfortable camping" this is glamping! An 8 person tent with a closet for 2 people 🤣🤣🤣🤣

  • @cruisepuppy
    @cruisepuppy 3 года назад +7

    Hey, as a newly retired person who wants to get out and explore a little, but can't afford an RV, I really like some of these ideas to camp with a little bit more comfort than hardcore camping! Might cost a little more than basic camp stuff, but it would be a whole lot less than a $30,000 RV. A roomy tent, a couple comfortable beds and something comfortable to sit in while watching a campfire - sounds perfect. I only wish links to some of this stuff was listed above - especially those cute solar string lights!

    • @jonathandoelander6130
      @jonathandoelander6130 3 года назад

      More like a $70K RV. $30,000 can barely buy you a car these days.

  • @stpdncr

    Wow that’s nice. Every summer my fiancé persuades me to camp. It’s real roughing it..like we use his single backpackers tent..use broken chairs...and shitty backpacking sleep pads which don’t offer any support because they are so light weight. I’m envious...

    There is nothing wrong with ordering a pizza to your camp or bringing a rotisserie chicken dinner from the grocery. The less cooking the better. It’s your vacation too. The great thing about camping is that anything goes!

    • @ddahstan6876

      Well, I've to say that many people would never ever like to go camping unless they have their memory foam bed and the whole kitchen with them!! So the fact that she does all the research and tries to get people to enjoy the outdoor is a HUGE bonus to our health. I'm a ultralight minimalist camper, keeping only between 3.5lb and 5lb for all gears, except food and drinks of course, but I give credits for her enthusiasm!!! Hope others who are afraid of camping will gain something from her!

    I’m watching this to see how my rig stacks up. Got an unlimited data mifi box for £20 a month, then have a 5 man tent with a lounge so it’s not all one room. I’m debating getting a satellite dish kit so I can watch sky but will probably do that for my France trip next year. Can’t go camping without electric also, you think you don’t need it but it’s so handy when you have it on a long holiday as you can get a twin tub like I picked up cheap so you can wash your clothes… and power the hairdryer for the mrs lol

  • @DarkMetaOFFICIAL
    @DarkMetaOFFICIAL 3 года назад

    This is what always bothers me lol seeing comments talking about glamping. Glamping is comfortable, yes, but the 2 are not just interchangable. You can go camping, and rough it, or be semi-comfy, or be extremely comfortable. None of which being "glamping". Glamping would be adding all those extra luxuries, and unnecessary things, on top of being comfortable. xD
    I can take only a tarp, paracord, and nice sleeping pad with my quilt and sm. pillow, and be extremely confortable lol. But that is nowhere near the realm of "glamping". u see? 😁
