    Who is Keren Elazari?
A distinguished Israeli cyber security analyst, Keren Elazari has forged a respectable career as a preeminent authority on keeping online data safe from the prying eyes of cybercriminals. Learning the ins and outs of hacking in online chat rooms as a child, Keren was drafted as a Cyber Security Officer in the Intelligence Arm of the Israel Defense Forces - utilising her expertise as a white-hat hacker. Now hired as an expert cyber security speaker, Keren specialises in the importance of ethical hacking and educating audiences on how they can protect their digital assets from cyber criminals.
Introduced to the internet aged 11, Keren soon became fascinated with white-hat hacking. Learning the ropes of ethical hacking, Keren was drafted into the Israel Defense Forces, serving for ten years in the army as an influential figure in cyber security. Since leaving the forces, Keren has earned Certified Information Systems Security Professional status, and become a Senior Researcher at the Balvatnik Interdisciplinary Cyber Research Center of Tel Aviv University. Having also worked as an Information Security Architect for iTcon, an Operational Security Expert for Matrix and a Cyber Security Business Development Manager for Verint, there is very little that Keren does not know about cyber security, hacking and cybercrime.
To further spread her expertise in cyber security, Keren has become the Founder of Leading Cyber Ladies and the Co-Founder of BSidesTLV. Leading Cyber Ladies is a dedicated event that brings together women who are experts in the field of cyber security, having worked with clients such as Microsoft and SAP to name but a few. BSidesTLV is the largest hacker community event in Israel, at which Keren demonstrates her expertise as an ethical hacker. Having also been a member of the Visiting Faculty and a Teaching Fellow of Singularity University, it comes without surprise that Keren was invited to deliver the TEDx talk Hackers: The Internet’s Immune System.
Named as one of TED’s Most Powerful Ideas in 2014, Keren continues to be highly sought after as an expert cyber security and ethical hacking speaker today. Leading the Israeli cyber security ecosystem with her expertise, Keren is booked to emphasise the importance of investing in cyber security and the positive impact that ethical hackers can have on a business. Widely regarded as one of Israel’s most preeminent authorities on cyber security, Keren is known to speak on topics such as emerging cyber security issues, hacker culture, innovation and the role of hackers in our digital society. When looking for a passionate cyber security speaker, let Keren Elazari be your first choice.

If there is one industry that is overpaying for security, it is big banks. That doesn't mean their security efforts are effective, but they have so many security teams that the teams at the same bank don't even know about the existence of the other teams. True story - I once had to introduce 2 teams to each other - one at the mortgage banking area and one at the retail banking area.

It's absolutely 💯 correct. Nothing is free these days. Even legit software like Microsoft Windows Google Android Apple iOs, etc, are doing the same, and that's why demand from users to buy big, better, powerful cpu gpu rams, etc.

1:46 I love it when people talk about crypto mining malware/software. A hacker would need literally millions of exploited laptops/pc's to even get $1,000 per day.
One RTX-4090 only generates $1.34 per day. Running 100% load. Do the math on that. People in coffee shops have mid/low spec business laptops. With CPU integrated graphics, and only using a fraction of the laptops resources so the user is not suspicious. 1:38

The culprits who facilates the bussines of these app and malicious software they need to be held accountable .you think the culprits will have access without the information. Even for executing arbitrary code scripts etc these culprits target. A circular need to be sent in order to prevent victimization.

Ethical hackers get paid to try and penetrate your software or system... as long as they don't do illegal things while doing so.
