Of all the vehicles I have owned or driven the P38 is the only vehicle that I actually enjoy driving. I have one as a hobby vehicle, I love it, so much character. I keep it in the UK where it seems to really fit in.

1999 p38 is quite rare in Indonesia. mostly 1995 - 1997 model year in the Indonesia market

It was mainly used on road. Just one or twice I used it offroad for fun. I was very pleased with it. But I know they can have some electronic gremlins once in a while. I was probably lucky ;)

Immobiliser system is particularly troublesome.
Blows head gaskets w/o overhead condition on temp gauge.
HVAC is troublesome.
Not all bad though - relatively speaking they actually hold up vs rust and the air suspension system is one of my favourite suspension designs of all time.

It's a Philips Carin. BMW has a very similar system too.

Is it just me who was worried the window would stop working? Going up and down and up and down again, recipe for disaster.
1999 up model year with Bosch electricity is more reliable than Lucas.

0:34 "reliable" and range rover? you are mistaken, sir. unreliability issues killed British car industry, customers are often the one who test the vehicle, find out design flaws.
Owned a Range Rover p38 Dhse for 22years have toured UK, France,,Spain, Italy , Germany apart from MPG no problems .
