Honda Airwave. Did Honda make a mistake?

Looking at station wagons from 2005 there aren't many that can rival the Honda airwave, this is taking into consideration the Toyota Fielder, Nissan wingroad, Lancer wagon and Vw golf. Was it a mistake to discontinue the Honda airwave?

for the headlights, once you get it cleaned get a proffessional clear wrap done, this will ensure they never fade again, wrapped mine in 2021 & they still look good.

Vtec engines are mostly faultless; the main issues will consist of failing coil packs, the gearbox will develop valve body issues if poorly serviced.
Suspension will serve you very well if you fit the recommended parts; thst is bushes and shocks.
All round these cars are tanks, they can do upwards of 400k in mileage without having perennial issues.

The Airwave was succeeded by the Honda fit shuttle( This was an after thought as it looks like a stretched Fit). In 2015 the Honda shuttle replaced the Fit shuttle . It was discontinued in 2022.

How can I improve fuel consumption in mine. It's doing 11km/litre. I hear others manage 17km/litre

Hello Kithegi, the fuel consumption for these is very good. To improve check on the below things
1. Spark plugs, ensure you have genuine
2. Ignition coil packs, they tend to fail alot on these cars.
This is mostly what makes honda airwaves have bad fuel consumption.
