    I just don’t understand how or why they cost only $20. Why do this? What was the purpose of this? Why get the Aria or starfield? Obviously it isn’t the Kato but they are making their high end budget options not worth it. Now if they were making these for gaming and movies, they should make that apparent but they don’t. It’s just a great iem.

    I agree. I have the kato and these feel 80% of the kato. Very similar tone and tuning. The imaging is incredible. Its very precise on placement, the only con being that it doesnt have a wide sound stage to make the imaging shine. Which is such a shame. Id gladly pay 80 for a refined upgrade to these where its got more sound stage while maintaining that good imaging quality. Cause thats its best point tbh. Despite being 20 bucks and having a smaller sound stage, it makes the most of the stage it has to work with. It feels seperated and detailed. Not as detailed as the kato...but like my god. Its still up there given the price point. Its hard to suggest getting anything aside from this until you hit the $100+ range. Its just that good. Love my hexa and kato but these have captivated me for sure. Theyre my new daily driver

    • @__vha
      @__vha Год назад +1

      I think my problem with Moondrop is that their tuning is the same across most of their IEM offerings. I understand that most manufacturers do this but when all you're gaining when going up a price tier is slightly better separation, imaging, and detail it becomes more and more difficult to justify having SO many different options in the lower price bracket.

    Nice review! I really like your personable style!
    Just got these...a couple thoughts. They are tiny! They fit right into the ear so if a small form factor is important these are great. However, I couldn't get a good fit with any of the included tips and had to find others to get the right seal for me. Once I did though , these have very nice bass and clean sound throughout. Very enjoyable! The cable tangles easily but that's not unusual. I also recently got the Bass edition of the KZ Castor and they absolutely blew me away but they are definitely more bassy so if that's not your thing I would recommend these instead. I also purchased the Moondrop Space Travel and although they are a bit glitchy, they are an amazing TWS value as well. Good for Moondrop! It's my first experience with this brand and I'm doubly impressed 😊

I've heard the Chu 2 have forward/strong vocals which I like, but that's about all I know. I've just bought the Chu 2 as an alternative to my trusty Soundmagic E10 bullet earphones. I stream music through Tidal Hi-fi Plus/USB Audio Player Pro in bit-perfect mode, using a Helm Bolt dongle DAC. The Chu 2 look impressive and are really comfortable to wear. Contrary to the hype on RUclips, however, the Chu 2 represent style over substance. They lack clarity and the tuning is very odd. The E10s sell for around £30 in the UK and are a much better option in my opinion.

      I have both and for me wan'er sounds better, but different cable is necessary, stock is way too shitty. But overall experience of an IEMs from the chu 2 is more relaxed, with better build quality and really great cable for the price

    • @surfision
      @surfision 5 месяцев назад

      If you're willing to spend that extra money, you might as well get the Blon BL03's. Keep in mind that Blon BL03's are a huge pain for people with slightly smaller ears, I'm definetly one of those and had endless problems with fitting them and their chassis always pressed against one of my ear bones and caused pain. But yeah, if you have normal or even bigger ears, they'll be a wonder. They sound amazing and in my opinion they beat many 150€ over ear studio monitors. If you have smaller ears pick up Chu 2's, Quarks. These two IEMs also push way over the price point and often beat many other monitors to the grave. They are the budget kings
