Great compact design. I was wondering if the push point being so close to the pivot point would add a lot of extra stress to the die - but it seemed to handle it no problem. I just built a bender using a cheap die set but it cost me $450. I like this copmpact bender. May have to build one. I'll subscribe. Thanks for the vid.
Nice build. Nice project. I think I would have made the frame with square or rectangle tubing saving a ton of time by not having to notch and fit all those joints. But, that is just my thoughts. I guess I have become a bit lazy over the years of fab work. lol
I really enjoyed this video. You are funny and awkward on the camera and that made it that much better. You started off strong on your video and noticed towards the end half you got quiet and started to fumble with the camera a bit more. I will refer to this video when building my tube bender. Appreciate the video! Keep it up. Subscribed!
Switching out dies is the only problem but maybe better to have 2 or 3 with the dies you need like some have more than one drill so they dont need to switch or lose the bits
nice video, i have a problem I am from Colombia, it is difficul to buy Affordable Bender die set. could you give me the dimensions? I want to do in a turnstile
It should work with bigger dies. In fact I need to do some 1-3/4 but haven't got the dies yet, was going to make my own as another video. The bearings were 1in ID
www.affordablebender.com/collections/affordable-benders-tube-notchers/products/additional-bending-die $150. If I ever get the time i will be making my own dies for the 1.75 tubing.
I came here after you gave a negative comment on someone else's bender suggesting you had a better one. As far as I got through yours you were just trolling hoping to get views. The other channel was better.

Congratulations excellent work is really impressive thank you.
Thanks for sharing your idea. Seems very strong. I'll be my next project.
I LOVE DIY. I SUGGEST EITHER A CAMERA MAN/WOMAN OR A TRIPOD. TO BE HONEST, IM EVEN MORE IMPRESSED THAT YOU BUILT THIS ONE-HANDED.
It looks like this machine will only bend one size of tubing. There is no adjustment for larger or smaller dies.
How did you figure out the length of structure between the die and the bottom of the jack? Thank You! JD
at about 14:00 I just swung it around and measured how much it had to move down, so the jack bottom was placed that far above using the two tubes.
OK, I think I get it! Thanks!! JD

Nice unit. Can you switch dies or would a guy need one for each die set? What size bearings were you using?
Thanks.

Where did you purchase your dies and roller
I don't remember where I got mine, it was years ago, but they are either original or clones of the affordable bender dies, www.affordablebender.com/
How thick can that bend, .125"?
Yep, .125, the dies are rated for 1/8 inch steel tubing.
hey dude where you have got that dies as that cost

$150. If I ever get the time i will be making my own dies for the 1.75 tubing.
А профильной трубки нет?
cool you didnt have to use the long cylinders like everyone else and your getting a 90 degree bend in one pass!.
Now just practice welding lol
Lost me with the 40 whiners cap.
Say tubing one more time!🤣
Hey Farva, what's that restaurant you like?
😂
