Applying too much paint can cause bubbling, try taking the extention off and using more pressure spread the paint out more, its better to do 2 thin coats than one thick one and you will have less excess on the roller when you finish, leave the wall a week before you repair it again to fully dry and fully absorb, the window wall is the coldest wall so if its winter heat the room up a bit but not too much because drying out excess paint too quick can cause cracking or an eggshell effect. Trial and error your doing great, good luck !
Thank you for your input. I don't think it was because of to much paint, I always try to make sure and nor have to much paint on a roller. But I will definitely try again when I do some more painting anyway. Maybe let it dry for a couple of months see what happens.
Great job, Justina!
Looks great 👍 looking forward to the living room make over
It looks great! I am a terrible painter and that's ok. No idea about the bubbles. Only thing I can think of is trapped air from reusing your roller maybe.
That is totally ok, we all enjoy and like different things and that's what makes life interesting. I enjoy painting so much, except when a problem becomes a mystery. I would think that the rest of the walls would get the bubbles too if it was because of reusing it, but who knows, I will try to figure it out eventually. 😊
Wow,was fun watching the transformation! You did a wonderful job! Joanna
Glad you liked it!!
I love the colors that you chose. Actually, the dark color looks about the same color as my livingroom! You are such a hard worker and you will enjoy it so much when it is all done, So excited for you guys!💖💖💖
Great job. Very professional 💥
Beautiful job ! I like your tools ,if I ever paint again I’ll be investing in some of those .
Hi Justina,
I’ve had that bubbling happen to me, and it was because the original paint on my wall had not adhered properly, and when it became damp from the new paint it lifted and bubbled. I ended up having to sand my wall really well. That seemed to work for me. I hope this suggestion helps.
I must say I love your videos! You motivate me! Lol God Bless ❤️🙏🏻
Thought of something else… If the original paint was applied directly on the drywall mud, that fills the drywall seams, or onto plaster without a primer, moisture will be a problem because the plaster/mud will absorb the moisture from the paint and the paint won’t adhere. Hope this helps. ❤️🙏🏻
Thank you so much for sharing your experience. I might have to try it whenever I do some more painting. I would make sense that that would happen if the previous paint didn't adhere.
Awesome job. I love, love your big window.❤️I can’t give you advice on the paint flaws, I do not enjoy painting, ever!😏
Yes I'm very happy to have that big window 😊
🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️
