you have traveled on a sleepingcar type T3s, it's a normal old railcar type T2s revamped on a this new type named T3s Letto Excelsior and now Deluxe. One cabin have box for shower.
Sometimes you can find cheaper prices. I did the same journey last january and I paid, in the same Deluxe entire compartment, €75 to Rome and € 80 for coming back. It was the same train, from Udine to Rome and return, that is a little longer distance.
I’ve always wanted to visit Italy but never got the chance, even though I love everything about Italy, the food, culture, lifestyle, countryside - I note from the maps on my phone that there are other rail routes from Venice to Rome, but this video appears to show the most direct route - what is the best time of year to visit Italy? If I was going, I’d want to avoid the main tourist areas as much as possible and so would perhaps avoid the big cities (which are probably also more expensive)
Early summer, late summer, even spring is a great time. If, on the other hand, you ask me when there are fewer tourists and it costs less, I'll answer you between January and March, however, I will consider that especially in northern Italy in this period it is cold and the days are shorter as hours of light, in the height of summer you risk finding it hot annoying by cons, by pros instead fewer tourists.
Thanks for sharing, but yes, it's incredible that there is no shower per car/roomette/couchette/cabins. There is even a market for "a private shower per cabin" as a First Class product. Trenitalia needs more competition here, like italo for example to improve this market.
Agree, it's also creazy that they do not provide any kind of catering or possibility to buy food on board, even onboard some services travelling for more than 20 hours!
最高の、列車内と車窓です😲もともとイタリアが好きで、死ぬ前に何が食べたい❓って聞かれたら、ボンゴレビアンコとポルチーニリゾット🤤

Hi from Netherlands 😊, I love Venice, was there twice, recorded in my channel.
Good luck, I'll wait for more videos of your travels.
I like the minimum security prison vibe of the compartment. Nice video :)
Storms are always suggestingly unsettling to me

The other rail route is the high-speed line through Florence. It is faster but you have to take high-speed trains that don't travel during the night.

It's all part of a calculated strategy to discourage night train use in favour of high speed trains, which have received nearly 100% of all investment
The correct number of the train is 870 🙂
