DIY Macrame Plant Hanger Diamond Shape | Macrame Plant Hanger Tutorial
Hi Macrame lovers...
I invite you to learn to make macrame plant hangers. This macrame plant hanger design is a little complicated. I used a combination of square knot and Lark's head knot on the plant hanger pole. Then on the pot holder, I used a diamond pattern. I also added fringe at the bottom to make the boho style feel even thicker.
This time I made the macrame plant hanger without using a ring.
Following are the details of the materials you need to prepare:
1. 3 mm twisted cotton rope
a. Ring replacement loop part
- 3 x 300 cm/118.11 inches (white)
- 1 x 400 cm/157.48 inches (white)
b. Mast section
- 4 x 450 cm/ 177.16 inches (mocca)
- 4 x 400 cm/157.48 inches (white)
c. Bottom part (pot holder)
- 40 x 100 cm/39.37 inches (white)
- 1 x 70 cm/27.55 inches (white) for gathering knots
2. Scissors
The final result of this macrame plant hanger measures: 70 cm long. If you want to make it longer, you just need to add the size of the rope to the pole. The size of the strap for the loop and bottom remains the same. This Macrame Plant Hanger fits a 22 cm pot.
The knots used to make this macrame plant hanger are:
1. Square Knots
2. Vertical Lark's Head Knot
3. Double Half Hitch Knot
4. Gathering Knots
