    You are like a kid at Christmas! I love it and I’m very impressed. I’ve not had that good of luck with winter sowing and I’ve certainly never had anything look like that! I’m envious of that Dara. I’ve never gotten that to germinate.

    • @Sullivan_Owen
      @Sullivan_Owen 4 года назад +2

      that's interesting, it's more of a direct sow in the heat kind of thing in my opinion. It's related to Queen Anne's Lace so I do best with it when I get a few to start inside and then scatter seeds every few weeks when it's warm. It's been so cold here I won't scatter seed until June at least.

    • @TheImpatientGardener
      @TheImpatientGardener 4 года назад +1

      Sullivan Owen Ironically that’s the one method I haven’t tried. I’m semi terrible about direct sowing most things.

    • @Sullivan_Owen

      @@TheImpatientGardener I am too, it's so funny but it's easier to give them enough attention when they're indoors. I always forget to water where I sow so this year, I'm waiting till I have irrigation done before throwing any seeds around.

      I love this method. But now I don't know what to do with all these plants. It's a good thing I have a lot of garden friends 😃 Ammi never failed to germinate for me. I found that good seed quality is soooo important! It actually will reseed as well, not too aggressively though.

I'm in SC 7b newly called 8a but still have 7b frost time etc so I'm going with that. I've watched almost all your videos and this one wins the prize. I've watched this multiple times. It makes me smile every time. I have been winter sowing for 5plus years. I used milk jugs but noticed the clear jugs you used produced such healthy looking seedings. Now I use clear when I have them. Yes. I get better results. And seeds seem to germinate faster. ( I experimented same seed in clear vs milk.) However - FULL SUN can burn the bigger plant leaves much easier if the clear jugs are not opened. 😊
