    Who cares what some people are saying....They are both good at what they do.... I've seen them over and over again and enjoy watching them....They both have a big smile on their faces when they dance....Keep up the good work you two and come to Australia and perform....

    I am in love with those guys... I hope some day I will be able to dance like them. No matter which dance - main thing is energy. When I look at them I want to start dancing immediately. This is swing!!!

    What a routine, I think it ups the expectation for creativity and energy for next year. Even if only the last part was lindy hop it was by far the best performance of the weekend! So happy to have been there to see it in person!

    @recreatedtiger Basically in the US there is no dance is known as boogie-woogie. Maybe some teachers are doing/teaching it (as far as I know Marcus Koch is one). There is a somewhat smoothed out version of lindyhop called east coast swing, but it's not the same. BW in europe started out in the '80s, based on the mentioned movies, the various swing dances US Army troops bring to Europe in the WW2. They were mutated, blended, danced to various music, and BW was born :) Search on youtube for it :)

    @recreatedtiger They are dancing european style boogie-woogie most of the time in this performance. It is a dance that were influenced mostly by '50s movies like 'Rock around the clock', and in which dance they were world champions :).

    @tmtke
    it is a Lindy Showcase (This is a no-holds barred dance. All lifts, drops, aerials, airsteps and acrobatics are allowed.) It is not a Classic Lindy. Sometimes people get confused and annoyed with all the tricks but if you look closely you can see the basic Lindy pattern and even some swingouts ;)

    Are 1:16 and 1:27 and 2:06 not swing-outs? Also, this is a showcase competition, they don't have to do 50 million swingouts, its a performance. Also, it makes me sad that the only comments on here are about whether this dance is actually lindy. This was f**king amazing and that thought never entered my head while watching or after.

    @SVTapir While I appreicate their highly energetic and powerful dance, I must agree. This was not Lindy at all.

    While it was an amazing routine, and William & Maeva are incredible dancers, I really don't see how that should win a *lindy hop* competition?

      I think it is "one more time" by Ray Charles.
