I own it on wiiu and plan to rebuy it. Never got the chance to do end game or online co-op. By the time i beat the main story my wiiu gamepad went bad and couldnt play it anymore.

The press release does say additional story will be present, so I think your wish and that of other fans will be met there. I am excited to see what other QoL enhancements will be present. We'll likely know more as the game is closer. :)
CORRECTION: The model of elma we saw in the 25th anniversary video was from the xenoblade 2 expansion pass as she was a blade that was accessible through the land of challenge. That model of her is 6 years old so they've had it for a while same with the kos mos model in that video aswell. Plus if they did put the new elma model in the 25th anniversary video then it would have been an immediate tip off that xenoblade x definitive edition was happening.

So i brought this on the wii u but it came out 1 month before my daughter was born and given how long xenoblade 1 was i put off starting such a massive game. By the time i got around to starting to play longer games again tge switch was out my wii u was in the cupboard and xenoblade 2 was just being released so i never got around to playing x, but super excited to play this next year
@fireembliam9090 she mainly plays on the switch it's the only console I have, we do have a pc but for easy the switch is generally what she plays on. Main game she plays is Minecraft, but she also likes mario kart, mario games (odyssey/wonder/U deluxe/3d world), Yoshi crafted world, the peach game, Pokémon games, Lego games I have alot of switch games so there's more she plays but those are the main ones she's likes
I hope there is no censorship, but I have a feeling that it will be like Tokyo Mirage Sessions which was also censored even in its Japanese release. Still this is a cool release. I didn't expect this at all.

I've always been confused on where X sits on the timeline. The prologue appears to take place during the invasion that necessitates the activation of the Conduit, yet there are also Nopon, which it has already been established did not exist prior to the reality split, as they were created by Klaus/The Architect
XCX to me was the definitive Xenoblade experience, taking the core gameplay values that made me love the original Xenoblade as the classic it is, and building/improvign upon them in ways XC2 just didn't even approach and XC3 at least came closer to.
At least the Wii U version can be patched, even including the original Japanese voicelines if one so wishes. Hopefully they will be included in the Switch version.
Unfortunately it's not, it's going to be using the western release instead of the Japanese release. Japan is getting the censored version like the rest of us. I'm, glad I patched my XBCX copy on my WiiU since I knew this was going to happen. Oh well.

I had a hunch that if i put dozens of hours into this game, Nintendo would end up announcing the port before i finished the story and i would feel dumb having spent so much time on the wii u version. Not sure if my wii u still works since it's been sitting in storage for years but glad i waited
Honestly I'm just hoping for more Co-op stuff, was kinda unable to do much of it solo so it'd be fun to try it with friends now that I know like two more people who played the original Wii U version

I absolutely love this game, but my only gripe was the late game grind.Mother of god, i Never want anyone to ever experience that terrible grind It really killed my enjoyment towards the end of the game.
The WII U version side by side doesn't look that different. Upscaling little here and there but damn the Wii U is still HD. I'll never sell my copy of original. The Gamepad implementation makes it better in my book. No stopping for anything. So both are same, But different. I'll have both and always believe, Twos better than one.

But she makes you wonder. How is they gonna conference it for the lack of the gamepad? Considering the game forced you to use the game pad. Because you couldn't play The Game without it. You gotta admit that's a good question thow. Could they bring the game to the switch and announce that without telling us how they're gonna convert safe for the gamedad? That's kind of an error on their judgment of Manila soft. And Nintendo not making an announcement with a Nintendo direct explaining. How's it going to come for the lack of the game pad? When that was the only way the game would allow you to play It everyday. Cause you couldn't play The Game unless you had. The game forced you to use it the game pad in order to make the game work. Which I thought was kind of a stupid rule. Considering you could also play the game with a pro controller. That's kinda called the kettle black. Makes you wonder what they're gonna do to convert safe for the lack of the gamepad. Maybe don't, maybe they'll make sub. Menus that allow you to do different things. That cause you to do things differently. When it comes to Mining for stuff and warping the different places. They might make the game pad part. Look like it never existed in the first place because the game will be designed in a way where it looks like the gamepad function never even elisted, which would be nice, so would be a good way to help prove they fixed that little mistake of forcing you to use the game pad to play The Game. That's a huge change and they also change your eye color her eyes used to be green now they're blue. It makes it not feel like the same. Elma, we know from WIIU system because she used to have a more darker skin tone making her look. African America and her eyes were originally green. But now she looks more like a girl with just a regular normal human skin tan. Skin tone and with blue eyes when her eyes were originally green. That's a huge chopefully. They put the boob slider back. Cause a lot of fans thought that was stupid to take that out. Cause that defeats the option of a true customization. And that's also an insult to women everywhere, because women come in all different saves sizes of chest. It makes it not honest and also what happened with L I n Diving suit in swimming suit.Censorship was really stupid when they couldn't just give it a one piece swim suit.Or give her a diving suit like Laura.Croft wears in tomb raider 2 But it makes you wonder if Xeno Blake. Chronicles x definitive edition is going to have the same voice. Actors cause some of the voice actors might have moved on and done other things. And some of the voice actors might not be voice, acting more and spending more time with their families. Some voices might be replaced in the definitive edition. Think about it that way. Cause look at how Bronx kid and teenage trunks in KakaoTalk has a different voice actress because Laura Bailey retired from voice acting and moved away and decided to spend more time with our family. So when you think about that way, a lot of the voice actors for xenoblake, Chronicles x by Zack's might not all be available so that a definitive vision might have a couple of new voices in the definitive edition, so expect that to happen, cause voice actors move on and do other things. And usually retire or some that know how to sing, usually go on to a singing career and don't voice act anymore. So we might not have all the voice actors in the game. And might have some new ones replacing those characters. And it would be nice if captain nagi looked more like a human and not like a vampire face like you did on the original version. What's an artwork update and maybe make commander Vance? Also look better where he doesn't look plushy. Graphics and looks more like he has real skin and looks like he has real hair and an extra moustachewould be nice. And it would also be nice as we get more customization option for the male and female character, including the bust slider bar restored plus giving the girl more customization and more english voice options for male and female characters and also be able to make it. So you can make your male and female characters built like a wrestler, making it so their physical attacks do more damage. Cause there are female wrestlers. So it doesn't run with having a woman with powerhouse muscles in the game. It would be good for blades and swords to have more power by allowing you to increase the physical strength of the male and female character when you create them so that they're physical attacks do more damage like swords and knives. Will actually do more damage. Because your character has more strength and speed. And a lot more voice actit. Be also nice if they got Selena Gomez. The voice of character in the game for your female custom character that'd be kinda cool. Actually, I wish L I n I wish they made her a little older because my niece Heather and my second cousin brandy. When they were eighteenthey were no bigger, it looked no olderthen Is l I n Did in the game? I wish they made her older and replaced her voice actress with Selina.
