I have also had experiences where the paint came out gloppy. Mercury glass is lovely and I love what you have done as these have a modern, almost industrial look. I'm going to have to try it. I don't think you can do this without spray paint. Staging in this video was gorgeous as well

But I think I was just using it wrong now that I watched you and read more on it. I was using a heavy hand with the coats of paint, I guess. So I'm going to get it out of my car right now and choose some glass pieces to do...BUT I already have all the things you used to make to your gorgeous candle holder also!!! I need to stop watching your videos because I now have a long list list of DIY projects to try. I'm NOT complaining though! ❤️

I've been crafting for close to 40 years. I now have an agressive type of arthritis which makes some projects difficult on my hands. Girl, I'm going to be all over that come payday! Those turned out fabulous! I tried my hand at creating mercury glass and it was a huge FAIL...LOL! I now just purchase them...LOL! I love the idea of the spray paint handle...gotta get one of those today! My pointer finger shakes for about an hour after spray painting...LOL! so hopefully this will eliminate that problem. I've seen this done but we've only recently got that silver spray here in shops. I've seen ones done where its sprayed on then whilst wet misted with water to create the runs ECT and to age it more, I don't know if that would be helpful?
