    Uncle Neely on that 3rd and 4th and 1 play there were multiple errors. First error running the same play/scheme out of the same formation which makes you a predictable offense.
    2nd error in 11 personnel you have #5 running in motion not blocking the DE when it should have been a tight end in that scheme to block the DE which was a free runner.
    3rd error the Nebraska Dline was much bigger and physical than Colorado Oline which spells disaster on run plays. Therefore Colorado needs to run more 12 or 13 personnel with the TE along with bigger backs to gain 1 yard.
    4th error on the RPO #2 is holding the ball to long in the RB belly giving time for the defense to penetrate the backfield and stop the play.
    If Colorado doesn't fix the running game and change up the run scheme for the rest of the season they will continue to get L's. Other teams are going to copy Nebraska game plan and eat up the time of possession keeping #2 and his offense off the field.
    P.S It's time to dig into the playbook and empty out all the schemes and plays because there is only 10 games left. Good luck!

    How can Colorado staff help the offensive line by changing some packages? It's like putting in a TE or reducing some of the WRs on the field. Put the quarterback under center, not just in shotgun all the time. Roll the quarterback out and maybe do three-step drops instead of five- to six-step drops.

    • @avordshaw6244
      @avordshaw6244 4 дня назад

      Three step drop?? Did you not see zelinskas getting his @ss kicked the entire game? I can’t even criticize Khalil because he’s playing out of position which I don’t understand. Dude gave up one sack last year in the Big Ten playing right tackle but the line coach doesn’t think he can play right tackle because he has bad technique. I don’t give a damn about his technique if only giving up one sack!

    Nebraska's game plan took pressure off of him. He is now allowed to shift the defense in play action because of the run productivity. The WR screen is ewuivalent to a run, or Hayden going in motion for that quick RB screen. P.S. If ya'll utilize Drelon Miller similar to how Ohio State used Curtis Samuels the offense is that much more Dynamic

    Now after seeing that 4th and 1 play again. It almost looks like the OL may be actually blocking for a screen play because they are all turning their shoulders(opening the gap door) and giving up a lot of ground early and easily. This is also backed up by #5 going out on bubble in the flat. I wonder if #2 called a screen in the huddle and checked to inside run to #44 but the OL and other players did not get the check (change of play) because of the crowd noise. Hhhhmmm? I have been in games (Texas, LSU, Georgia, Florida) where QB makes a check at the line but the crowd noise is so great you can't hear and just go with what was called. We'll never know. Definitely not making excuses for the OL, just an observation.
