1985 Yamaha YZ250 Does it need just a top end, part 1.

- When I got this bike, the last owner told me the top end went out. He said when he took off it made a ton of noise and died.
It is missing a bunch of parts and needs new plastics, no big deal they are out there and not to much $. But anyways, I figured it would be a good bike to fix up and pass along, the price was almost free.
Come along while I dig into the engine to see what actually it is going to need.
can you not weld something onto to the bolt shaft so you can turn it ?
I might be able to, but I am thinking that if I drill it out from the back side it should unscrew the bolt. At least I hope it will.
Do you know what spark plug goes into these ? Thanks
y factory manual calls for a NGKB8EG or a B8EGV
Looks like Not correct kick starter arm???
That is true, I have no idea what it is off of. I am going to have to cut it off because they cut the head of the bolt off and ground it down to clear the case, there is no other way to get it off the engine.
Looks like you might want to part this one out and don't waste your time and money on it. Part it out and support your 86 which has more potential. I'm currently restoring 1991 CR250 and parts list doesn't stop. Keep posting, been telling people to watch and sub.😎👍 I'm jus say'n, Flodaddy!

I wonder if I might be able to shoe horn my Bultaco engine into it?
