I love talking about Melee as a spectator. So many amazing sets, and its only gonna get better. I always loved Genesis 1 the most, but Summit 11 showed me an even better set which was unreal.

I love PLUP vs HBOX G5, bc of the combination WF set with Armada decided on the Zelda Lightning Kick and because Hbox was such a demon for Plup. and the Plup Club Hype.
I really love Plup vs Hbox G6 WF, because it was such a brutal set for both players. One of Plup's demons, and it had the audio technical difficulties, the random setup match achievements, so back and forth and probably the craziest Hbox popoff ever. Only bad part was how Plup choked it missing that upthrow upair ;-;
for spectator sets I would add the sets with the mango marth (especially mango falcon hax with 'yo did he just..'), the mango taj set, drephen vs army with his zelda, hax vs nintendude, net1234 vs chrisbest etc. etc, there have been a load of really amazing sets that weren't necessarily like "greatest ever" but were super entertaining. for me genesis 4 leffen mango is peak melee though
Armada Hbox GTX definitely a favorite of mine. Such close games, game 10 after the reset Armada up 3 stocks to 1 vs Hbox, and Hbox comes back and takes it home.
armada vs M2k SSC 2018 is an easy no. 1 for me personally. Game 10 with every game (with an exception for the last game) going to last stock I believe made it much more engaging throughout the entire time than any other set I've ever watched.
I am a huge Mang0 fan, Big House 6 --> Royal Flush --->. Big House 9 ---> Summit 11 got continually more impressive. Though for a non-Mang0 answer I felt the most for Zain vs Hungrybox Genesis 7. And I think Hungrybox vs Armada (EVO 2016) or Armada vs Mew2King (SSC 2018) are like the highest quality and historic sets That don't involve the GOAT because obviously Summit 11 Grands had the biggest narrative and emotional attachment for me cuz my grandfather died the Saturday morning of that Summit
One of my favorite sets is Armada vs Leffen at Paragon 2015. The tournament with one of the worst Grand Finals of all time had one of the best Fox dittos of all time.

Both evo 2016 and Summit 11 are perfect examples of that.
