    What can I say about Paragon that hasn't been said already? Every part that I've seen from these folks are just mind blowing.
    I would like to know about the wing that mounts to the trunk is that a Paragon product?

    Does the catch can have a filter that will need to be changed with vehicle maintenance?

  • @gregsdates
    @gregsdates Год назад

    So the PVC hoses that you took off of those 2 spots originally just hang loosely in the engine compartment? And where do the original PCV hoses dump the vapor if you didn't install the catch can? Is that the canister located behind the rear wheel on the passenger side? Can I remove that canister (if that is what I'm thinking it is)? If would make the install of a high wing spoiler so much easier.

    • @ParagonPerformance
      @ParagonPerformance  Год назад

      The OEM PCV hoses will be discarded after installing our catch can. The OEM PCV line takes the unburnt gasses and puts them back into the intake tract which overtime will cause carbon build up on your valves. As far as your high wing install, this won't be in the way of it.

    Does the Oil catch Can mount and still maintain the engine cover?

    • @ParagonPerformance
      @ParagonPerformance  Год назад

      Yes the catch can is mounted to a bracket and you can still use a engine cover.

    So the hoses that were disconnect just remain unplugged and left to hang?

    • @ParagonPerformance
      @ParagonPerformance  7 месяцев назад

      The hoses that we're disconnected will be plugged back in. They are removed during install so you have more room to navigate.

    I just installed the can. I've noticed that my hose connection ends did not have the allen wrench fitting adjustment. Fyi.
    Also, the fittings did not make a click sound. The fittings were much tighter when installed. Is it ok to be tight when the fittings were installed without making a click sound like the OEM fitting? It's so much tighter, it may be hard to take it off. However, it does twist in place and it's not going to come off.

    • @ParagonPerformance
      @ParagonPerformance  8 месяцев назад

      Double check to make sure the connection is seated properly. Sounds like everything is installed properly.
      As far as the Allen heads in the video the hardware was updated for ease of install.

    I received my oil catch can but missing the stainless steel screws and no clamps came with the product to clamp on the hoses as shown in your video. Can you explain

    • @ParagonPerformance
      @ParagonPerformance  2 года назад

      The clamps are no longer provided with the kit as they are back ordered indefinitely. Our team found a new solution so the clamps are no longer needed. As far as the stainless screws those should have came with your kit. Send us a email at Support@ParagonPerf.com

    Can HTC owners reach the catch can from under the car without taking off the engine access panel?

    I just purchased this product. My questions is, I already have close to 20K miles on my C8 2020 HTC, is it to late or will this product still prevent oil, fuel, water and carbon from entering my engine? One more question, is this the same company that was started by the late Dick Fortier in Rankin Michigan? I new Mr. Fortier very well as I grew up in Grand Blanc, MI. Thanks

    I am engine illiterate so what does this do again? it appears more protection than performance, correct?

    • @ParagonPerformance
      @ParagonPerformance  2 года назад +2

      In simple terms it collects the oil vapors and stores them in a can which you empty every oil change or so. You're correct that it's more protection but in the long run it saves your performance from being decreased.
