They just let these fires burn now. Getting the land burned down so they can build their SMART cities
What's shown here is mostly healthy cleansing fire, essential to these lands.
They couldn't use the tankers on every day due to weather variabilities, but oftentimes they still use the choppers.

I'm not sure about smaller or more recent fires, but the Zaca Fire in 2007 was the closest in size and area to where the Lake Fire is now.

this is way everybody in southern ca must pay the fire tax. as then the fire crews will have billions of USD to work with.
