In this Broadcast Award-winning, BAFTA and Emmy Award-nominated entertainment show, Taskmaster tyrant Greg Davies (Man Down, Cuckoo), with the help of his loyal assistant Alex Horne (The Horne Section and the show’s creator), sets out to test the wiles, wit and wisdom of five hyper-competitive comedians.
Comedians that have risked life, limb, and dignity in the hope of making the Taskmaster proud so far include: Frank Skinner (The Frank Skinner Show), Mel Giedroyc (The Great British Bake Off), Romesh Ranganathan (Asian Provocateur), Hugh Dennis (Outnumbered), Sally Phillips (Bridget Jones’ Diary), Rose Matafeo (Edinburgh Comedy Award Winner 2018), and Russell Howard (The Russell Howard Hour). Unaware of what awaits them in each wax-sealed envelope, only one competitor can become the victorious owner of His Royal Task-ness’ golden head and be crowned the next Taskmaster Champion.
In Charlotte world, the command 'run' means an impression of an adorable cat burglar scurrying away from the scene of the crime.
I don’t know if I could think of a better description.
All that was missing was the big sack with a dollar symbol on it.
i want to live in that world
Adorable 😍
@@momon969 Stripey shirt too, surely?
Charlotte is definitely one of the most endearing contestants the show's ever had.
remove the useless term "one of the"
@@obscurereference6298 idk, Mel
@@chelseawildflowerloftinwey1945 Mel is certainly up there but come on...
@k c thank their parents. at least they are real.
Yeah, she’s so sweet. I love her.
"180° left" is the best command I've ever heard...
"Ninety... Both... Left!!" Is my favorite 😂
“Turrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrn”
I was hoping this was going to be a super cut of all of the times Charlotte was a children's show host. The world needs that video.
Same here!
I need this. Please someone please
Agreed!
There already is one. It's called Taskmaster Series 11.
@@neversaw I’d settle for another series of Ghosts.
she's absolutely Delighted to be running in a circle blindfolded🤣
Would love to see a team task with Mel Giedroyc and Charlotte. The positivity would be out of this world!
that would be so wholesome
and Sian Gibson! the sweetest taskmaster trio possible
@@Georgie-M idk Sian has some chaos in her with the cheating and stuff
Those two need to actually host a children's show.
The mother and daughter vibes they'd have haha
Charlotte is incredible throughout the series especially when she started being a little more (politely) assertive. Also has no one has accidentally look more like a minion in the blindfold task.
In an interview about taskmaster she said she had planned on wearing a yellow shirt with her dungarees but her flatmate stopped her 😂
Amazing. Mike and Charlotte are the embodiment of the polite british stereotype.
The shots of a blind Jamali with the chaos behind him make this task iconic. 😂
Taskmaster is always brilliantly shot and edited, and that might have been my favorite example from this series. It was excellent.
@@StonetheDestroyer42 That, and how Charlotte effectively 'reveals' Alex at 4:14, although that one is probably more accidental
I love how Sarah thought she could easily win by getting Charlotte to just run, only to have her scurrying around in circles
Charlotte is gold, but an underrated moment was Lee thinking Mike had randomly stood on the correct red green.
For a split second in lees mind, Mike was an otherworldly being who's mere existence alone guided him to where he was meant to be. Then the realisation.
To be fair Mike is definitely an otherworldly being.
@@jodievdw hard agree.
Really? I thought Lee was just kidding - trying to piss off Alex about the unspecified rule!
Okay, but this title is misleading. I need a compilation of Charlotte's best children's TV presenter moments!
YES!!!
Thats what I was hoping for|!
Exactly this. An absolutely incredible task, but this should be labeled: "Sarah Kendall is crap at directions for 5 straight minutes". I want more of Charlotte being excited by things like how cool she thought it was to be on a plane.
Yes please!!
Expect the title not misleading, it says Taskmaster meaning on this show spefically
I want to see the pure chaotic uncut 21 minute version of this.
There will be multiple camera angles too, might have to be a 8K split screen
I feel giving them the command "Take Off Blindfolds" would have made this whole task a lot easier for them.
It's a lot funnier for us though to see them struggle.
Alex just losing it at 4:14 is my favourite part lmao
I don't think I've seen him crack up like that before.
@@medafan53 Alex's biggest breakdown was in S10 when Katherine P. was trying to get him to throw a shoe in the tub.
3:35 to 3:41 is freaking gold, while Jamali is walking around Charlotte is struggling to get out of the bunker for at least 2 minutes XD
I believe almost the time Mike and Lee needed to finish the task, Charlotte was figuring out how to get out of in the bunker.
Oh shit I didn't even notice that 😂😂😂
Charlotte Ritchie, being fun and chill as hell: 4:00
She looks like she had a blast the whole season hahaha
I honestly loved everybody this series, but Charlotte might be my favourite. Absolute joy.
The opening credits has that super adorable moment of Charlotte running in circles looking like she having a ball of fun and I have been enthusiastic to see the task. I am glad it was saved it for the last episode of the series!
Her trying to grab the red spot from under her at 0:40 really got me the first time around for some reason, i think it’s just because she SO raring to go she’s just doing random nonsense 😂
Absolutely loved Charlotte in this series. This task alone with her running round, swimming on the ground, and crawling past the mat just sums her up entirly!
only Charlotte would say “wheeee!” in hell
The music is amazing in this clip! Sarah's "RUN!" being the point that sets off the upbeat music made me laugh so much!
On the Podcast Sarah describes it quite fittingly as the "dumb shit music"
4:12 Even Alex can't handle the misfortune
Tears of unabandoned joy as Charlotte's idea of run is doing dressage in a circle.
Charlotte Ritchie going in circles at the start lives rent-free in my head. She is having so much fun
4:14 Even Alex can't help but buckle over in laughter
I think he’s despairing
Sarah is terrible at guiding people, I don't think anyone can do a worse job :D It's a masterpiece.
Genuinely an absolute car crash. It was almost literally the blind leading the blind! At no point did she utter the direction "straight" - just "Run!" "Walk!" "Tuuuuurn" 🤦♂️🤣
I'm amazed how badly she managed to do. Especially with all of the cuts of them walking/crawling right past the red circle. So funny to watch!
@@emiilyshe to be fair, some of the reactions they had to her orders were surprising
"Uncle Donald, your voice is terrible! ... Keep singing!!"
Victoria Coren Mitchell would have dominated this one
Oh, no.
They're learning our language
Taskmaster clips to fix your insomnia
Exactly, the soundtrack already is one step away from wii music
Both Charlotte and Sarah have been my absolute favorites this series
Watching how happy she gets make me smile 😊.
Have a good day everyone.
4:12 _[Charlotte goes air swimming and misses the spot by inches. Alex doubles over laughing!]_
Make a big compilation of Charlotte Ritchie being herself. This show has introduced me to so many brilliant people.
If she doesnt get offered a job on kids TV after this...
Charlotte winning her two episodes were the only times I was genuinely excited about a contestant winning. Not a mad powerhouse like Sarah and Mike, not the spunky attitude of Lee and Jamali, just an absolute ray of sunshine.
Paul Sinha's victory in series 8 was this for me
@@NickHoad Yes! And, I forgot about Nish & Mark's glorious song in S5!
And when Jess won hers
Agreed!
You have to have some respect for the episode that Jamali won by stomping things in every task.
You should make a clip compilation called "Every time Mike Wozniak had an absolute lovely day"
"Activate Jamali!"
4:12 Alex losing it in the background is priceless
Think we all needed this
it's charlotte's world we're all just living in it
This task was pure chaos, and I love it.
The shot of Charlotte running past Jamali is the golden camera work. The music this season was also great as were the contestants. This was one of the only seasons I’ve enjoyed every contestant. Can’t wait for next season
Alex really loving his job @ 4:13
The out of focus foreground shots of Mike and Jamali were hilarious, kudos to the camera person!
2:56 Jamali is activated
She is my favourite contestant of all time, shes just so damn adorable!
She's a beacon of light in a dark world
Definitely need a compilation of Charlotte Ritchie being a kids TV presenter.
Sarah breaking out in laughter at 2:05 😂😂
That woman stole my heart
I'm going to watch this series over again
Can we get "Charlotte auditioning to be a children's presenter" compilation?
"Run."
Runs in circles.
Fully expecting Charlotte to rock up on CBBC, CBeebies or any other children’s show after this series 😂😂
Charlotte is a mood. Thank you for existing.
One of my favorite cast by far! If we get a chance to do crowd favorites, please bring mike and Charlotte back! Or why not all of them! Could watch them all day
I bloody love Charlotte so much
This was on par as great as the Scooter parking task for "best final task"
Thank God she remembered to Activate Jamali.
I want to see the uncut 20 min of this !
"What's the point, I don't understand, what was the game?" - Jamali
Please can we have a compilation of all her "Children's TV presenter" moments
"turn around.."
"RUN"
I quote this everyday 😭
Instruction one: Take off goggles
Instruction two: Turn around
Instruction three: Go red circle (and point)
There is always an easy option built in.
I'm pretty sure you could even skip 2 and 3, just keep pointing to the red circle after saying 1. Almost guaranteed they would start looking around after taking off the goggles, and they would see you pointing. Maybe help them if they did not manage to get it within 30 seconds.
But where would the fun be in that?
Charlotte was so wholesome. I loved her.
this is the best video on RUclips hands down
I demand the extra 1 second with Charlotte that this video promised!
We need a compilation of all the boinks from Charlotte
"180 degrees left"
180 DEGREES IS A U-TURN, MATE
THERE'S NO LEFT OR RIGHT
Good thing this video came along, I was dreading having to watch Charlotte Ritchie Enjoying Life For 5 Minutes and 8 Seconds in segmented chunks.
This was a brilliant series, Mike, Lee and Charlotte made it one of the best series ever!
4:14 is a rare moment of Alex breaking character
My three words would be “Goggles off. (point to circle) Go.”
Hmm, did the task say that they couldn't give the instruction "remove your blindfolds"? It's only three words.
As cool as it would have been for either Sarah or Lee to realize that, I am so much happier that they didn’t.
I was thinking the same thing. Guess they didn't realize that.
Fairly sure it did say the team mates had to keep the blindfold on throughout
@@mickys8065 It's not said in the episode, so I assume it was not there
If Charlotte doesn't end up becoming a children's tv presenter then she has absolutely missed her calling
Get Alex's wife to hook her up.
congrats to the champion (not spoiling it for anyone who hasn't seen the final yet)
This was my absolute favorite task in the history of the show, I think
she is funny and endearing at the same time 😂
I love how Alex says "careful" mid trip for both of them lol.
Alex said that for Mike as he was midway through creating an arc of sand with his foot as he fell into the bunker.
Jamali should wear goggles like that all the time. He looks like a steampunk badass.
weren't kidding when they said Charlotte was made of kid's television, she has the "kids are chasing me" run to a T right down her memory if that's how she runs when she hears "run" as a command
Charlotte is such a sweetheart!
In a parallel universe there's a vault containing an album titled "Miss Ritchie & the Situations sing first year favourites"
Well to be fair Charlotte and her brother is a great singer, they even uploaded a few songs on RUclips
@@AhmadFIksan Yep, I like their stuff. Both good singers.
It'd probably be cruel but I could watch 10 seasons of Charlotte doing tasks
I've no idea how many times I've watched this video already but it never fails in cheering me up.
There was nothing about keeping the blindfold on. 3 words would be: "MIKE REMOVE BLINDFOLD"
Now she can forge a new career - as a children's TV presenter
Someone should probably send this clip to Cbeebies just to save time
Jamali! Activate!
i'm gonna miss charlotte on the show but looking forward to her kids tv show
*Tuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuurn WALK!*
Could the first instruction be "Take off goggles"? Wasn't in the rules that they needed to stay on.
Sarah and I have the exact same sense of direction.
Now we need a compilation of her saying things a children’s show tv presenter would say
The only thing that could have made this better is seeing it as an aerial timelapse.
1:18 still the best Minion impression I've seen in some time.
"Turn around. RUN!" is my favourite part.
I can't wait till she gets a spot on Ceebeebies. 😂
And this is just one of 5 million reasons why I love this channel.
I am trying to imagine what would have occurred had Charlotte or Jamali been in command
I just can't imagine this going worse. Jamali would probably go: throw blindfold away. BOOM they win the task. And I can genuinely see Charlotte giving normal directions :D Sarah saying left when she meant right and 'activating' both of them was absolute chaos
@@anam00090 that's exactly what I thought as well. Jamali would have most likely asked them to remove the goggles thing.
Jamali in command: "Sarah, Charlotte: stomp!"
Charlotte in command: "Weeeehehehehehe!"
The people's champion to be sure.
