I was wondering the same thing along with I don’t want to lose my heated steering wheel. Also want to know if I’ll lose my remote start settings. There is literally no info on this unit that I can see.
Get the new Kenwood XR unit with Idata module and it keeps all of your settings right onto the head unit. Im sure its a lot more money but the quality and user interface are light years ahead of these white box radios
Does it only come in the black trim? I’d love to have one but the dash on my High Country is the light brown color… I’m not sure how the black would look with it.
I already have an aftermarket wiring harness to run a line out converter, will I just be able to plug that into the harness with the kit, so I don't have run rca wires and still use my line converter
Regardless of the hw I can almost assure you it'll have a locked down bootloader with bogus Chinese spyware baked into the rom. I'd love to be proven wrong, but that's usually how it goes with these nonsense-named CCP backed shell companies that sell cheap android hw.
Great video. I have the 2016 high country fully loaded and just wondering aside from the mic replacement would I still have my parking sensors and heated steering wheel?
Does anybody have this with an aftermarket stereo setup? Ex: (2 12’s with amp & voice amp for aftermarket speakers) Just want to see if it interferes with how aftermarket stereo setups in a negative way.
Does this come with the I0B 7” (brown) harness? I think these ones came on work truck and custom models and a couple others I think. From what I’ve seen, these harnesses are hard to get in aftermarket stuff.
Need one for my 2015 high country, do you have a kit for the Bose system? Tried one through Amazon, nothing worked. No rear speakers, backup camera, steering wheel controls or nothin.
This looks cool, but I don’t see anywhere where it retains the factory settings like other units , I like being able to switch back to the factory style looking radio, so I can access my settings.. can someone confirm that it does this or not?
Will this still work on the 2019 Gmc sierra 1500 base model? It has the same front end look as the previous 2018s and I Believe it's still the same interior. I believe it's the K2XX
I'm wondering the same thing, I drive a lot of country roads at night, my factory dimmer is usually set as low as it will go, if it's too bright that is a deal breaker for me
@@Acez_420 yea but you should not have to worry about dimming it manually at night should something built in for it to work like the original radio would
It only shows the android logo on initial start ups when you first buy the device OR when you restart the device in the event it’s acting slow or an app crashes. Daily driving you will not see the Android logo
If you don’t mind me adding, I’ve been looking to upgrade my oem unit as well. Recently did front and rear speakers, plus subwoofers. I may be answering my own question here, but I wouldn’t select the Bose option; since it was replaced with aftermarket?
Their website does not have any contact options which is a red flag. I do not see any videos showing using the OEM cameras when towing and accessing all the OEM settings.
@@ItsNeezy You win for my favorite comment! It's kind of like the steering wheel heater questions. What would lead everyone to think that it would no longer work? And even if it did, I'd gladly sacrifice that functionality for this major upgrade. But man do I need to also upgrade that potato of a back up OEM camera when at it. lol
That has to be the best after market head unit I’ve seen.
lmao. I'm thinking the exact same thing rn
For sure
I have been looking for a while now to upgrade my 2014 Sierra. This step by step video is awesome and may be the reason I buy this head unit.
That is so awesome to hear! Glad you enjoyed the video
I don't have one of these trucks but I feel like this is the way they should have looked from the factory
Great vid. Such a massive improvement!
Looks great , I really when aftermarket was cheap and junk and now it’s better then factory
is there anyway to keep the factory trim color considering mine is that graphite gray look
Dude I've wanted one of these for so long
Looks absolutely incredible
Great instructional video! Thanks so much for sharing .
Would be awesome if it came with Grey trim or can reuse the trim from the truck
Does it retain the onstar? What about factory Sirius radio? Also can you still use the factory hotspot that comes with the truck?
I was wondering the same thing along with I don’t want to lose my heated steering wheel. Also want to know if I’ll lose my remote start settings. There is literally no info on this unit that I can see.
Quick question this would eliminate the ability to edit vehicle settings that are normally changed through the oem radio correct?
Same question.
Get the new Kenwood XR unit with Idata module and it keeps all of your settings right onto the head unit. Im sure its a lot more money but the quality and user interface are light years ahead of these white box radios
I looked for it but I couldn't find it. Can you help me by sending the link? Thankyou!!!@@melissathompson7229
I'd love a something like this for my 2021 RAV4!
Thanks I will think about it.

Makes me miss my 2016.
the tilt mechanism lever pulls straight out. Just grab it thightly and pull.
Mine was stubborn and wouldn’t come off sadly. I YANKED on it.. no luck
The steering wheel tilt lever does pull out. All you need to do is just tug on it. 😀
Would this work on a 2014 Silverado WT base model
Once everything is checked & working I would use TESSA tape to make the wires for the head unit look OEM.
What processor does this unit have? What size memory, and what version of Android? Your website isn't very clear on the specs.
Regardless of the hw I can almost assure you it'll have a locked down bootloader with bogus Chinese spyware baked into the rom. I'd love to be proven wrong, but that's usually how it goes with these nonsense-named CCP backed shell companies that sell cheap android hw.
I have a 2016 Silverado 2500HD High Country. Does the factory mic still work or do you have to use the new mic? Thanks.
same question, i have the '16 GMC All-Terrain with a factory mic as well.
Tbh, this looks way better than some of the Tesla Style screens
Yeah Chevrolet either uses boss or pioneer radios in the truck's and car's but you only get the amplifier with the boss unit
Can you make a video of you using the touchscreen on Apple CarPlay ? I’m sure it’s super laggy
Are these going to come out on the Colorados
Great video. I have the 2016 high country fully loaded and just wondering aside from the mic replacement would I still have my parking sensors and heated steering wheel?
Do you have the rear entertainment screen? I was wondering if this would work with the dvd player or run shows to the rear screen
Can it play youtube and others while driving or is there some kind over ride to accomplish that?
Nope it works while driving
Does this work for a 2017 Sierra with an IOB radio
I just wanted to know the name or brand for this screen please..thanks
I wish they made it for the Tahoe. :(
does heated steering wheel feature still work?
I would buy but I need the factory trim on it still… only downside
I would buy that unit based on the audio adjustabilty alone.
Does anybody have this with an aftermarket stereo setup? Ex: (2 12’s with amp & voice amp for aftermarket speakers) Just want to see if it interferes with how aftermarket stereo setups in a negative way.
Wow nice…
According to the Idoing website, the radio supports the RDS (Radio Data System). You didn't show that. Can you confirm?
Does this come with the I0B 7” (brown) harness? I think these ones came on work truck and custom models and a couple others I think. From what I’ve seen, these harnesses are hard to get in aftermarket stuff.
How do I upgrade to apple car play to wireless when you have one and have to plug the phone in but you have a built in wireless car charger
2016 dodge Ram. Big Horn?

Is this compatible with the factory dimmer switch?
Are there going to be a unit for the 2019 to2023 hd models?
What size is the screen? Listing says 9 but that ain’t no 9in screen

Looks pretty good but how does it look at night because i got one before and that radio did not dim enough for it not to be blinding at night
I'm wondering the same thing, I drive a lot of country roads at night, my factory dimmer is usually set as low as it will go, if it's too bright that is a deal breaker for me
android systems including this one have brightness adjusters like ur phone, u can see it when ur shows the volume slider.
@@Acez_420 yea but you should not have to worry about dimming it manually at night should something built in for it to work like the original radio would
@@Zentry06 If it has the manual version I'm sure there is a auto setting considering it's basically a phone
Do you have anything like this to replace the Cadillac cue system?
Is there a way to change the boot logo? Been looking at one of these for a while but don’t want to see the android logo every time I start my truck…
It only shows the android logo on initial start ups when you first buy the device OR when you restart the device in the event it’s acting slow or an app crashes. Daily driving you will not see the Android logo
Would this work in a 2016 Tahoe?
awsome..where are you located
What about a 2012 Toyota sienna se
Where can I get this stereo, the same with Bosé system?
Can you show how some apps look like when using on this unit? like youtube and netflix.
I don't see 2015 Tahoe listed on your website. Is it the same as the Silverado?
Does it show the climate digital display like the factory screen shows ??
Can RUclips play while driving?
Yes
@carmaspeed how about a.m. and FM radio does it still work
Would this headunit work with my 2019 Silverado 2500? Not listed as a fit but it’s the same factory headunit as a 2018
No sadly
Does this work with an aftermarket wiring harness for wiring to an amp?
(LOC adapter)
I am shocked how this infotainment transformed the interior of the truck! It looks amazing and sexy AF!
Do the usb ports in my center console still work with this setup? I have the jump seat center? Do not have Bose system.
so i have two 2015 GM trucks one with Bose and one without... are the units the same to order??
I see one for a 2015 F150, I assume something changed in 2015 so that it won’t fit a 2014?
2011-2014 F150 coming soon
Did the original screen not have CarPlay?
Nope.
I have a 2017 GMC Denali Sierra HD with a light tan interior with a dark brown dash. Do they sell a head unit to match this trim color?
I also have the ceiling screen. With this head unit send picture and audio to that screen?
2007 CHEVY ???
my only concern is will this work w aftermarket sound systems or does this only work with the speaker the truck has from factory.
I have that same question too and if it does have aftermarket sound system do we put tht it has Bose or not
10:13 screen looks cracked. Am I wrong
My unit did not come with the Bose box adapter but my truck does have the Bose system can I order it separately? Or do I even need it?
Email support@carmaspeed.com if you ordered it through us to get you that
Does this work if you don’t have factory CarPlay
I just upgraded my 2021 Silverado with a 15.6" tesla style screen. I didn't get it here. I'll never go back to stock lol.
9:54 it looks like the screen is cracked
def is
I don’t see the Bose option on your website. Do I just write it in the vehicle make/model notes ?
Working on getting this fixed. If you can write it in the vehicle make/model that would be ideal and completely sufficient for now. Thank you!

He doesn't respond because it's ancient
$620?! Thats a deal!

This is like $360 on amazon same Chinese radio
But on other RUclips videos no one goes deep on explaining about it
23:23 your cameraman breathing heavy over there, is he good?!?

He literary showed RUclips in the video. Watch instead of jumping straight to the comments.

why do the wires look like the cheapest wires on the planet
Why waste the time and money seeing how the engine, that POS will self destruct the the minute it leaves the place where this head unit was installed!
does this work with the 2020 1500
