Just installed in a 2019 F150. I had the small screen for the backup camera. When I installed this the camera image is glitchy. Changed the setting like you did and still the same. Any one know a fix?

I have a 2015 Lariat without the 360 camera. If I can get the cameras for it to retro-fit it, will this unit show those features? I ask because when looking to upgrade from my sync 2 to sync 3... I was told by a stereo shop that I needed to provide the VIN so that the features that I have would be available in the sync 3. The guy made it seem like I could not do an upgrade with the stereo switch. Thanks! Oh... also... do you know if the ambient lighting allows for the Ford programmed color changes?

Unfortunately not, but there is two different plastic trim pieces by Metra and iDatalink. I just recently installed the iDatalink one in my 2017 ST and it looks sooooooooo much better
Very Helpful Video....I just installed it on my 2015 F150 its lags a little more than I expected, but overall an improvement...the back up camera quality is really static and I am not sure why, I did mess around will all the options but still really bad. I will ask the manufacturer if there is something I can about it or if I need to replace the camera with a newer technology
@@vaderfx4 I have not yet take apart the tailgate to inspect the grounding cable as someone else recommended. Camera is still distorted, some people have also mentioned if your battery needs replacing that might also be an issue. I will go to autozone tomorrow to have my battery tested...as I plan a 2 hour tow with my boat this week. I do love the radio, get tons of compliments. I also have a 2024 Rubicon 4xe so, this is more my tow rig and haul truck.

If you didn't have any problems with the camera before and you already tried to lower the resolution in the settings, then you probably have to replace the camera with an HD camera. In my 2014, my camera was so distorted that it was useless because the screen resolution was way much higher than the camera, so it couldn't display right. If you gonna replace the back camera, you might as well install a front camera and maybe even a 360 camera really isn't that hard at all.
Did your steering wheel next song? cauise I installed with the new 14" and it doesn't work, you have to install some USB into the OEM with songs on it, to allow it to work. ARe you seeing those issues as well?
Same factory everyone gets them from. Dealers buy and resell these from China. Viknav makes them. Google them. The soft for canbus controls is what is spotty for the new units.
Any advice on Camera Flicker? I have the correct settings and just installed today, reverse camera is flickering and cutting out bad. I saw yours is clear but looks like another guy on here has the same issue
Run the ground for the camera to a bolt instead. Read that it mostly due to a bad ground and that grounding the wire to a bolt fixes the flickering camera

@@rckyrcky if you have B&O it won’t work you’ll have to get another adapter from the company which I did but it still didn’t work. Backup camera was horrible I just sent it back.
Also i see that the WIfi does not stay on, working with support in China is some of the worse I have seen, its like talking to a 5 yr old, and they do not understand anything with common sense, video's help , but unless you speak Chinese and explain to their engineers, you will be in trouble and throw it out the window. LEt me know, love to see what your experience was, i am super technical and this new 14" only works like 95% so far.
Amazon and eBay. Bother are made at the same factory in China that everyone resells. I can get the name of the factory. It’s Viknav that makes all these. Their engineers are by far the biggest idiots. They don’t even have a f150 in China haha
@Living00The00Dream They are. Some dealers are able to give better help than others, though. I got mine from autotec Pro based out of Canada, but there are the same units. Just when I need help, they are a little bit more helpful ...sometimes.

Just installed one in my truck. I was able to use the factory microphone. They do include theirs if you want to change it.
I have this unit in my 2013. I am able to adjust the fan speed, but not the temperature. Any ideas?

@@Frank-zl6zr Ended up splicing into that harness at the tailgate and ran it to the handle mount. Working good now!
Just installed this unit in my 15 F150 Lariat, the rear back upsenors aren't working and neither are my lane departure lights on my mirror any ideas
