Mixing with studio monitors can provide you with a more accurate representation of your stereo image, but unless you’re mixing in a sound treated space, I actually recommend using headphones. This removes the negative effects that an untreated space will have on your perception of the frequency response of your mix and allow you to make more accurate level adjustments. Combine your headphones with a headphone calibration software like Sonarworks Reference and you’re good to go; the natural coloration of the headphones will be removed, providing you with a very solid listening situation. @@BlackGhostAudio actually I'm studying a song by one my fav artist. So he has a sub in track which is distorting the melody but its is stylistic in that case. It's not unpleasurable

Hey! when I have a limiter on the master track how do I catch the distortions that I want to keep?
Is the distortion being created by your limiter, or a plugin prior to it?
@@BlackGhostAudio I want to be more specific. Anyway can I ask this personally?
@@BlackGhostAudio it is being created by a sub
@@dawgangster4103 are other songs distorted through the sub as well?
